And sure, I can explain a bit! Quite simply: I'm transgender - I'm a woman, but was assigned male at birth. I almost didn't want to mention it, because I didn't want to make a big deal about it (pretty much the opposite of what I did when I was a teenager). But I figured since I did mention it a lot when I was younger, it'd be good to let you all know that everything has worked itself out.

Oh, and it probably helps that I haven't seen my toxic parents in 6-7 years now. :P
