I'm on hold with Disney Dining and they just played Circle of Life. I hope it's a sign.

Doctor Who, "The Christmas Invasion" (2005)

    SYCORAX LEADER:
I can summon the armada and take this world by force!

    THE DOCTOR:
Well, yeah, you *could*, you could do that, course you could, but *why*? Look at these people, these human beings, consider their potential. From the day they arrive on this planet and blinking, step into the sun, there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do... no, hold on... sorry, that's the Lion King... but the point still stands!

I was watching "Drawn together" and they did a parody of the Lion King. The elf dude on the show escaped and left his friends (who were stuck in a van at a mall parking lot) and ran into two homeless dudes. they later started singing a song with made up words to the tune of Hakuna Matata. Later on, the elf dude saw Mufasa in a puddle of urine and decided to go back and rescue his friends. When he said goodbye to the homeless guys, he called them Ernie and Nathan.

I'd never get that for my dogs though, because they might mistake all the Pumbaa stuff lying around my room for their toys.

On King of the Hill, Hank was talking to a Buddhist monk who thought Bobby was the Dalai Lama reincarnated...The monk was saying some parable or something, and Hank said to him: "That doesn't make any sense, quit talking like a song from the Lion King."

Bwahaha. I laughed so hard at that in the theater. No one else thought it was that funny apparently. I had it as my MSN user pic for a while too.

I was watching Cops 2.0 a few days ago. While some guy was being arrested for dealing marijuana, I noticed a small TV in the corner of the screen...it was playing TLK! (The scene with Rafiki talking to Simba under the stars)
    I promptly spazzed out.

speaking of seeing a TV in the background, in the news paper yesterday (on the front page as well) there was a pic of a family and story how they won a million and now a year later had a million to pay back cuz they just kept buy things .. And in the background on the pic you can see the familys new widescreen TV very big and with a great quality so that you could see what they were looking at at the moment: The Timon & Pumbaa show There was a pic of Timon with a cheese on his head .. cant remember what episode that is atm >.<

On Law & Order: SVU detectives Benson and Stabler were talking to an FBI dude about how bootleg DVDs are used in terrorism by Al Qaida. The FBI guy said "Last month we confiscated 15,000 copies of the Lion King, each with a message for sleeper cells".

I just got out of class today at the University of Washington and decided to get some lunch on the Ave (University Avenue, just off-campus), and all of a sudden I thought I heard the "Nants Ingoyama" chant from TLK! I really thought I was hearing stuff so I started to walk closer and it started getting louder...

Turns out one of the Frats on Greek Row - Sigma Alpha Epsilon, was blaring "Circle of Life" from the TLK movie over a loudspeaker while a few of the brothers were dancing to it on their frat balcony. One was holding some kind of plushie over the balcony like Rafiki - It was hilarious! And they looped the song, so it started again right after it ended. , and it was drawing quite a crowd.

I thought it was TLK rememberance day or something but seriously it was so loud you could hear it halfway across campus-people were like "What the hell is that???" Lion King music???"

Definitely the first time I've ever seen this kind of TLK sighting before in public.

    It made my day

On the show "Just Shoot Me", Jack Gallo tells his daughter, Miya, "You were heckling our wedding vows", to which Miya replied "The woman was quoting the Lion King!"

    Is in the
    Lion
    King

and it showed Mr. T in a lion costume...
