Get him a new box of tissues? That Hakuna Matata storyline has been going for almost a week. You can read them all Here

Wow a deadish thread. Anyway... Max Casella (original Broadway Timon) is on Law and Order: CI that just started. No idea what his character is. I hope he's a bad guy.

Last night I watched this comedy programme called "Something About Parenting" & a teacher was ill & the headteacher was on the phone looking for a supply teacher but she couldn't find one she said "I'll have to get the children to watch a video yes it's going to be The Lion King again whenever they like it or not" but they found a supply teacher after she said that

I bought my nephew a Vtech smile center thing (u no, one of those learning things you plug into a TV) and I was looking at the cartridges you could get, and alas, a LK one caught my eye. Had to get him it!

We're watching Reba on Lifetime. Her ex-husband bought a house where someone died and Reba's trying to convince his wife that it's haunted. They were talking about it and Reba's son in law said "I don't believe in ghosts. I beleive in the circle of life. Hakuna katatata!"

Playing with the vtechs is fun.

Oh at work today, I was putting together a packet for one of our troops and their leader lives on "Lea Lane" I smiled.

Season Premeire of Dr Who just now, dropped a flagrant reference.

When addressing some weird aliens about Humanity, The Doctor started quoting the openning lines of CoL, stopping himself with "No wait, that's The Lion King..."

Edit: And minuites later, randomly drops an Arthur Dent ref x)

I heard CoL on the radio some day ago, then not the one from the movie but the other one you got on the TLK SE DVD cd. Down here they seem to play a lot of TLK music, when I was with the kid on kindy some weeks ago they played CYFtLT on the lunch hour. But that's all for nowadays ...

Playing with the vtechs is fun. True ... I got some vtechs things, like books and games ... I need a vtech DVD player tho, or two, I don't think they both go into same thing... So I just got the games lying around, and the book is useful around this place xD

On a Travel Channel show called World's Most Unique McDonald's it showed the flashy, funky Times Square one and did a wide angle shot. In doing so, they got a REALLY beautiful shot of the TLKoB marquee and banner. I wanted to go to TLKoB so bad all over again.

Tonight, Dateline did a show about laziness and di a segment on SLOTH to see if sloths really are lazy enough to get confused with the term for laziness, or something. Anyway, it showed a clip from Ice Age and the lady who works with John Stossel (name?) said, "Sid did for sloths what Pumbaa did for warthogs in The Lion King--put them on kid's radar screens"
