Quite alot of schools do it in the uk, on the very last day of your secondary education.

This was taken on the very last day in my secondary education before i go to collage next summer.
On the very last day of us being at this school the teachers let everybody sign each others t-shirts, like a little somthing to remember your friends by, because its the very last day of school before you go to get a job, appreticship, collage etc after the summer holiday

Yer, Its only a one off thing though, since you are just about to leave secondary school forever and its your very last day at school, the headteacher says we are allowed to sign each others shirts for the last day only.

EDIT: we do have year books aswell, the signing of shirts is also allowed, do you want to see some more ?
