No I know who he is. I like him quite a bit. I think I first heard of him from "Notre Dame de Paris". My sister has one of his albums. I don't remember which one. It's hard to find his stuff here.

Yay for pwnage! Sharks are so awesome.

Woah! *does victory dance* That's so cool! It's hard to find fans around the USA sometimes. Him being a Francophone singer and all. I first heard of him from Notre Dame de Paris as well, and then when I heard one of his "real" songs (Gitan) I was hooked.

And YES it is hard to find his stuff around here. To get a poster I waited a month and a half to get one from Quebec off his website. But I officially love that poster. As much as my TLK poster.

As yes sharks rock. My mom walked in as soon as I finished commenting on it. She did a little "ahh!"

She wouldn't dare. I let her watch the shark leaping out of the water on "Planet Earth" and she just sort of stood there yelling about how scary it was. She had...issues with swimming after she saw "Jaws".

OOoh. You mean she screams in fear. I thought you mean like a happy scream. I just watched one about shark mating... I feel dirty now. Air Jaws II is coming on right now.

LOL, does anyone recall how D.W. from that show Arthur was always afraid of Octopuses even in pools and lakes? That's how my mom is with sharks.

I was going to watch some of those shark documentaries but my brother is watching the new Spongebob Episodes. Those aren't all that great, by the way.

Personally - I only have applications and file-links there I really use all the time. Everything else is on the menu:

    • Firefox (browser)
    • Thunderbird (e-mail)
    • Gaim Messenger (ICQ & AIM)
    • FTP folders (my servers)
    • Eclipse Platform (Script and Java development)
    • Gimp (Image Editor)
    • Local Home folder (local filesystem)
    • Root folder (local filesystem)
    • Mount Manager (yeah, that's Linux, people...)
    • Root Console (command line)
    • System Administration (Linux / KDE)
    • K-AudioKreator (CD-Ripper and Audio Encoder)
    • Trash (of course... :P)

    BTW - Thiago - that's a KDE-Theme I once did:

Of course. Would you mind telling me your e-mail address? (Since it wasn't me who did do this particuliar shot [as you probably know, I usually publish photos from my own work with big cats], I don't want to upload it to my server)

Maybe for you, but everyone is different. Some people like lots of icons on their desktops so that they don't have to go rumaging in sub folders and what not. One of my friends has a desktop even more busy than TL's and he told me that he would feel lost if he didn't have his desktop icons.

Anyway, here be my new desktop. Cookie goes to anyone who isn't British to guess what that bridge is called.

Of course - my father is one of those people who wallpapers his entire screen with icons.

Yet, no matter if someone likes that or not, it isn't efficient. In fact I know many people who don't even find what they want on there.
