    The Missing Lynx

    http://features.cgsociety.org/story_...?story_id=5183

I discovered this adorable film on Netflix yesterday. (My sister downloaded Netflix on my nephew's WII). It is about a small group of animals lead by a jinxed lynx named Felix.(Never used so many "X's" is one sentence before! lol) trying to stop a evil Dr. Doolittle-esque billionaire who speaks to animals from building an ark and abducting animals to cage there. Felix's companions are Bea, a hyperactive billygoatess, Astare, a stuck-up peregrine falcon with bad wings, Gus, a paranoid chameleon who can't change colors very well, and Rupert, a golpher with no self-esteem(or vision) whose mate and newborn babies are among the abducted. Also among the abducted is a female lynx, Lincesa, Felix's new girlfriend. The African Hunter hired by the billionaire to hunt them sounds suspiciously like Tim Allen, though he is not listed in the credits or on IMDB. Oddly enough, the Hunter's minions are all masked ninjas, which doesn't quite fit the rest of the film.

The film was made in Spain in 2008, and is quite obscure and little known, however, anybody who likes antho-animal films(particularly like Madagascar, The Wild, or Finding Nemo) will love this.

Did I mention that co-director, Raul Garcia, was an animator for Disney and worked on films such as Beauty & The Beast, Aladin, and The Lion King? See the attraction to the movie now?

Our time on this planet is precious, and can be snuffed out at any moment. Every second of every day should mean something.

Love it, got the DVD at walmart in their $5 DVD section, I was surprised Antonio Banderas wasn't a voice actor on the movie but he is the producer.
