Wow, that's definitely happy! :D Lucky skunk, he'll be getting there just as it starts getting cold here & enjoying another few extra months of summer! Not a bad deal at all.
I am happy today because, I actually had an afternoon yesterday to sit around and draw and did an art trade with someone for the first time in YEARS! It was wonderful, and hopefully starts a trend. I intend to try again today, at any rate.
I'm happy today because the Rampage won. :D Hard fought victory too.
Because I had a very productive day, two loads of washing, fixed the washing machine, 2 loads of the dishwasher for lots of my casserole dishes etc that have never been used but will be needed after pat gets here and we move out. So lots of preparation and tidying etc. Was also happy to see that my native flowers are attracting native bees :)
Also, less than 11 days!!! :D :D
I'm happy because I took the day off tomorrow and will be getting a 24 hour breather from the office.
Of course I also have to drive my mother to the airport at 4 A.M. this evening, but at least I can return to sleep afterward!
Cool, a day off. But 4am is not cool. I have enough trouble getting up for a 6am start at work.
I am happy today because I have the peace of mind of having a fireplace/kodiak stove in my house, so that even if we loose power for days from this monster storm, I still have heat, light, and a way to cook/heat up/eat warm food.
I swear when I get a place of my own a fireplace is a must. Not even a nicety, a must. 2 winters ago we lost power here in a blizzard for 4 hours from ice, and thanks to it stayed nice & warm and brought the old people next door over too.
I'm happy today because tomorrow is an inservice. I don't really want to go to work and listen to a bunch of BS all day, but I'm glad to get a break from the kids for a day. Love them, but I need a break. :lol:

I'm happy because Pat made it safely across to LA and is now flying over the pacific ocean! :D Exciting, but also makes me nervous as well.
I'm happy because today is the best holiday of the year! Had a party last Saturday but I'm going out again with some friends tonight, it should be fun.
I'm happy because it's Halloween! :D It's my favorite. Not much going on right now though. Stupid weekday.

It came back at 4:30 this morning, it took me a minute to realize what woke me up! LOL
I have heat! I have light!
It's been 11 days in the dark & cold, with only candles and a fireplace to get warm at and nighttime temperatures dipping below freezing, I've literally, honestly been chopping/sawing wood to keep warm!
I actually got to shower in a warm bathroom this morning!
ELEVEN DAYS.
I am so happy!

I own that bracelet, I bought one when I saw TLKoB in London in 2006, but one of the charms broke off a few months ago when I was at Disneyland. :(

I think I got another bracelet from when I was in London in 2010. Mine has got colored stones in between.
I have the bracelet with the colored stones too. Petteri bought it for me when he saw TLKoB in London, in 2010 as well, hehe. So I don't know if they sell the gold bracelet with the black stones anymore, but I thought I would ask.
I didn't see it in 2010 and 2012 when I was there.
Because knowing myself, I would have probably took that one too, haha, it looks nice with all the masks.
I can't recall if the bracelet they had had colored beads or black beads. I don't wear charm bracelets so I didn't really look. If it has black beads, would you want me to pick one of those up too?

I am happy today because I just spent a great weekend out of town with friends. :) I have a friend who works for a company called SOMO and they sell jewelry to benefit education in Uganda. She needed help with a photoshoot for a new line coming out this Spring and so a few friends and I went down to assist. Never done a photoshoot like that before, but it was really pretty exciting! :)

No seriously i've been basically jumping on my bed all day. This band meant the world to me when I was 14 and six years later I can't wait to see them live again.

I really enjoyed Life of Pi :) Definitely a very good film, and the work they had done on Richard Parker was incredible. Sometimes I really forgot that he wasn't a real tiger, hehe.
Today I am happy because I soon will be off to finally get my hair cut so I'll be able to see again :lol:
