For those wondering why Gmail is invite only, it was designed to help prevent spam-bots from automatically signing up for dummy email accounts. Other sites have implemented methods such as funky image tests but with Gmail all you have to do is ask a friend to invite you.

Add me to the list of people that have tons of invites to give away--100 invites between my two accounts.

I have 50 invitations as well.

BTW: it's almost 2,5GB now.

For each successfull invitation you will get another 10 MB I guess.

Gmail is quite good .. sometime it do a strange things but it has got best antispam filter I ever saw and it's main reason why I do use that. .. and off course I like the fact it is not use standart POP3 but APOP (encrypted transfer). But I'm technological geek, don't listen to me.

Now you can signup for g-mail with out having a friend send you a invite. Go to http://www.gmail.com and they will send a invite to your cell phone by request. But only US citizens can get it this way I think.

I have Gmail too, if someone wants one.

I sended 1 out, and 2 weeks after it, I had 50 invites again.

I just checked my g-mail and I have 100 invites in my account. So I can give them out too now.

EDIT: If you want one from me, e-mail me by the address in my profile or PM me with your e-mail adress letting me know you want to be invited.
