^ Uh, the last place I ate out was like, McDonald's... I can't even remember the last proper takeaway I had haha. I eat at home most of the time.

^ The freaking printer in the computer room at campus! Everyone hates it, but yet the teachers never get someone around to fix it *grumblegrumle*

< Today I was having lunch out with my mother. Out of the blue, completely unrelated to what we were discussing, she asks me, "Who is Kovu?". Immediately my heart felt like it was going to pound out of my chest in a panic sort of way, not sure why. I said "He is a Lion King character." She just wanted to know which character he was and background of the character. Guess she was reading my Facebook post while having lunch.

V. Have you ever panicked over something that ended up being nothing?

Haha, that's like the day I came home from work a couple years ago--not even actively fanning at that point now mind you, I was on "family leave" from the fandom at the time--and completely out of the blue as soon as I walk in, my mother meets me in the hallway and states: "Simba's mother's name is Sarabi."

....

What??

She had gotten a notice in the mail of potentially qualifying for a class-action law suit, "(So&so) vs. Sarabi, et al." My mom didn't know what products it related to, so she went online to get more information and check out if the suit really applied to her.

Lo & behold, page upon page of Lion King fansites, as far as her search could see!

Was a very, very strange moment. And my mother forever knows Simba's mom's name now xD

^ I'd consider myself a decent cook. I don't know how to cook a lot of things, but I can cook things well and I following a recipe makes things super easy

^ I made red velvet brownies! I had to improvise on the recipe and I'm not the best cook at the best of times but they surprisingly turned out really good.

< Of course I didn't get enough sleep the night before I'm hosting a party

^ well, just as I was about to say there is no song stuck in my head, "the song that never ends" popped into my head

^ Just remembered that I have to walk across to the vet to get some more bunny food.

< I filled up the bird bath 15 minutes ago because it was almost dry, and it's literally become crazy busy in no time at all. First the blackbird came and emptied half the water while taking a bath Then the new holland honeyeaters came and bickered over it and had something to drink, now the wattlebirds are having a go.
