Not really art, but here's a screenshot from some subsurface scattering training I've been doing with mental ray. The original concept was from motiondesign.biz, but I've built onto it with a samplerinfo+ramp on color tab in the the volume_parti component, as well as made a few more additions, including an animated fractal to make the spiky ball seem to warp in density when animated

But now I use him for a site that is doing good, so I hope this lasts lol. I have been beaten thrice, all in the past. Though, there are many lessons in defeat and none in victory, so go figure. Mwuahahaha
