I'm gonna put this here. A hyena which helped in TLK's production passed away last night. http://fox40.com/2012/11/13/sac-zoo-...n-king-passes/

Awww, sad :-( Wow though, 28 and how many animals zoo or pet are lucky enough to kick in their sleep? And with such an illustrious obit. Good show, Brownie! May you enjoy an endless zebra buffet in the sky!

Really as terribly stylized as the TLK hyenas are, the animation as far as locomotion goes isn't really all that off, there's some mannerisms they work into the characters pretty well.

The "the oldest-known hyena in a U.S. zoo" designation does make me wonder though, I've never seen a verified 28 year old hyena to compare but there was one at this rural "zoo" near a friend of mine once that I'm pretty sure could've been a contender. Their spots fade some with age and this thing was almost a total washed-out blank, mysteriously disappeared a month or two later, too :P

(On a completely different note, how DO YOU FIND all these news things? I am always so amazed!)

One of the weirdest tributes I've seen so far The scene is well staged (and crafted) But the animals are way off Although at least someone took their time to do it, which is respectable, haha.

Why did they use cows instead of lions? beats me

Gosh, that's full of uglyness. But I guess it's pretty cool in its own way.

Not really a sighting, but did you hear what the Eurovision Song Contest slogan is this year?

    I have one too.

This one is taken from when Emilio and I went to see TLKoB while it's on tour in Manchester. We went to Pizza Express just down the road from the theatre and guess where they put us? Right underneath TLK being projected on the wall. Sad scene we were taken with though.

And what's more is that they were also playing the TLK soundtrack. It was like we were meant to be there.

We were gonna go to Pizza Hut, but there was none nearby, so Pizza Express it was. I'm so glad we went there now.

    WANT!

There was a school dance group at the hockey game last night dancing to some weird remix of Disney songs that was heavy on the TLK. It was very strange.
