What do the 1994 animators think of the 2019 remake?

I'm on board with pretty much all the animators responses. Yes they messed it up, yes they could've gotten more credit, yes the movie isn't officially theirs anymore, yes we need more facial expressions.. It just bums me so much when you read about how much money the movie made and they couldn't have worked on it longer because they pretty much anticipated this profit anyways.

Here's a reason why the movie is making so much money:
    (and most movies lately)

    1994 cinema ticket: 2,50 € (Euroscoop Belgium)
    2019 cinema ticket: 11,40 € (Kinepolis Belgium)

Is that a fair comparison though? Euro was introduced later and with the money crisis etc..?

Looking at the price difference in all those years, I think it is.

Going to the movies costs 2-3-4 times as much now, so obviously, a movie is going to bring in so much more money, then movies from 20-30 years ago.

It doesn't matter if it's € or the old Belgian Frank, or the money crisis.
The price increase of a movie ticket stays (as with anything).

Great find! Thanks for sharing! Funny how it mirrors a lot of what we were saying the new movie review thread.
