The Great Mouse Detective

All right, as you can guess from my avatar, another favorite Disney movie of mine out of the few (aside from Lion King) is the Great Mouse Detective.

After seeing the 13 threads on this forum, I decided to make a thread to see if anyone else here has seen this movie.

Note: I do not expect to get many replies. This movie is considered a touch ("touch" meaning "wallop with a planet").... under-appreciated.

Of course I remember it... It's cool. I haven't seen it in a while but I remember it. We have on on VHS... Somewhere... I don't know where... XD

I have it on video although I haven't watched it in a long time. From what I can remember it was a good film.

man, i need to rent some of these older disney movies that i dont own. i cant remember so many of them x_x none of my friends are gonna watch with me though, dont wanna watch them alone =/

I first saw it when I checked out a video version of it* from the library, alongside The Lion King.

I'm a bit surprised that no one listed Basil as their favorite character. Toby seems to be popular though, strangely enough.

I've been at the board (for the movie page) before. Currently, one of the more frequent visitors is some weirdo who:

• Has a black mark on her internet for the crime of character theft;
• (Apparently) goes by two names on the forum: LAsh100000 and Joshoo2000 and-;
• Thinks that she can sell a (really poorly written) sequel idea to Disney as easily as opening a door.

I mean, seriously! If it was that easy, I'd have written something up and had it made into a movie! Sorry, had to rant.

* I now have a DVD copy of it, and the cover of the DVD is just crud, man. So I get an extra kick out of seeing the video when I stop at the library.

oh yes, I love it that Basil can never get Flaversham right though I always cringe when Basil sits on his own violin
