This is a tale about the lost becoming found, both literally and figuratively.

A young boy, Dante, only wanted an engaging vacation in Africa with his parents. He only wanted to taste the food, speak the language an experience what he could of the culture. He especially wanted to visit the Serengeti National Park. Unfortunately, fate had other plans in mind. Having lost both his parents and his guide in a brutal crash, Dante is lost in the middle of one of the most dangerous environments on the planet. In his journey back to civilization, he comes across the lions of Pride Rock, including Simba, Nala, Kovu, Vitani, Kiara, Zazu, Timon and Pumbaa. Other faces also rear their heads, such as those of then hyenas Shenzi, Banzai and Ed, yearning to reclaim the Pride Lands as a new home better than the abyss known as the Elephant Graveyard. Along his journey, an even more dangerous enemy while show its face: poachers. These poachers, led by the sadistic and vicious Chase Hernon and his right hand woman, Corra Noxman, intend to use the Serengeti as their personal hunting ground and enjoy tormenting the local tribes scattered throughout the area. One young girl of the Maasai tribe, Kamaria, mnages to escape their onslaught, coming across Dante sometime after he becomes lost, who offers her protection. With the help of the lions of Pride Rock, and all the other Prideland animals, even the hyenas, Dante must bring these poachers to justice and find his way back home.
