The Lion King Musical box office

The guardian reports that the TLK musical production is at the top of the food chain... aeh the highest entertainment product ever existing:

6.2 billion USD! This is a really big impressing number and more than 6 times higher than the cinema box office performance, which also was not bad at all. I think for many of us this news is not surprising, but I thought it was worth mentioning, though. ;-)

I wonder if other big musical hit big on the box office like Cats, Phantom of the Opera, and other big Broadway shows.

Anyway If it hits 6 billion, we won already.
