The Adolescent Years

Kopa sighed " Is just...I need more freedom...and I don't want to be so tired...as you always are Dad..." he said lowering his ears.

[King Simba]

"You will when you're king...I can assure you." Simba nuzzles Kopa, "It is tiring though, I know."

[klowd]

" Well...I hope my mind to be changing before I get adult" he smiled nuzzling Simba back to don't make him sad.

Twilight walked beside Shine as they padded slowly across the grasslands next to Pride Rock. They had been together now for a few weeks now as mates though it still felt like they where very close friends like they had been ever since they were cubs.
A few weeks go Twilight finally plucked up the courage and had finaly asked Shine after promising himself years ago to one day ask and luckly enough Shine had felt the same way and accepted him. But at the moment that hadn't been to much activity between them they still where getting used to the ideas they where mates now not just friends.
They stopped and looked over at the other lions.

[King Simba]

Simba drifts back off to sleep.

[klowd]

" Dad sleeping again!?" said Kopa annoyed.

Mufasa smiles over to Twilight and Sunshine. "How are you two?" Mufasa asks them politely.

Twilight smiled over to Mufasa "We are ok" nuzzling Shine.

"Yeah we are good" Shine said nuzzling Twilight who purred quietly "How are you Mufasa she said as they both moved slowly towards Mufasa

[King Simba]

Simba starts to snore loudly.

[klowd]

Kopa jumped onto Simba suddenly and bit his ear to wake him up playfully " Awww how you can be so lazy...."

[King Simba]

"Uh...what?" Simba says as he opens one of his eyes.

[klowd]

Kopa started jumping onto him trying to be a nuisance

"Thats good to hear" Twilight smiled still purring away.
"Simba sleepy again" Shine smiled looking down at Kopa

" Yeah... he's always sleeping!" said Kopa rolling his eyes.

[King Simba]

"Kopa, stop that." Simba says yawning. "I'll get up if you stop."

[klowd]

" I don't belive you!! you told me that you're gonna take me somewhere interesting... and all that you do is sleep aaaaaaaaall the day"he said.

[Lion King Stu]

Twilight just smiled down "Cubs huh Simba they never seem to tire out huh?"
Shine just smiled and sat down on her back legs.

[King Simba]

"I will, I will....it's only the start of the day yet." Simba sighs to Kopa.
"Yeah, always active." Simba laughs a little.

[Lion King Stu]

"Well thats a good thing obviously" Twilight said continuing to smile "Well maybe not in situations like this".

"Yeah a good cub is a active cub" Shine said rubbing a paw across Kopa's head smiling

[klowd]

"Yes but what about if your father is the laziest lion of the pride?" said Kopa rolling his eyes.

"He isn't tired Kopa I think you hve just warn him out" Shine said smiling down at Kopa
