That was really good and so catchy. Love the whole African feel to it as well.

Looks like there will be 24 episodes in the first season as you can read here. Plus a few interesting facts about the idea of TLG from the developer Ford Riley.

5.4 million is pretty much big for a children viewers, if they keep their pace going, I think it would be successful.
Yes I do think it will be successful and it wasn't just child viewers 33% of viewers were adults age 18-49

Hmm yeah, this is according to Entertainment Weekly. I'd take it with a grain of salt, though:
This sounds really exciting! but... Jason Marsden? He played adult Kovu in SP, so it's kind of oddJoining the cast are Blair Underwood as Makuu, leader of the crocodiles; Ana Gasteyer as Reirei, a scheming jackal; and Maia Mitchell as Jasiri, a friendly hyena.
Jason Marsden, Andy Dick, and Lacey Chabert will also reprise their roles from the 1998 direct-to-video sequel The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride in an upcoming episode.maybe he'll play as an adolescent Kovu? Who knows, but like I said,
this could just be a rumor.

Well that's a shame, that video still isn't available in AustraliaI just want to hear the song, haha.
That press release is interesting, the theme behind that episode reminds me of the Hakuna Matata stories in TLK magazines with the short stories about Simba, Timon and Pumbaa.
