For many a long time he merely stood feeling alone and sombre before stepping out of the cave feeling the rain and the harsh wind blow against his mane and his fur. He had many feelings running through him at that very moment it was getting very hard to pinpoint which one was actually effecting him the most. His body was racked with fear as he not only shook with the cold; his body language was giving off a lot at the moment and he didn?t even know whether his pride was thinking of him as merely just weak. It wasn?t just his father he was worried about; it was just everyone else in the pride that had to hunker down and take cover.

From word already said a number had witnessed many die or get washed away; others remained injured and in cover or so said. But looking over most of the flooded parts of the savannah he feared they may of drowned or were trapped within them. When the rains stopped and the water subsided they could go in search and see what could be done or salvaged. By the look of it he would be leading the party unless his father made a miraculous reappearance with every passing moment seemingly almost seemed past the point of unlikely.

His mane started to matt together with the rain as the wind blew harshly; he padded close to the promontory point looking out across the lands; he saw an animal running close looking like a lioness which was a sight indeed seeing that if one made it through the night there was hope for others. Though at this distance it was unclear as to who exactly it was.

He roared out across the lands seeing if he could get any feedback not only from her to see if she was from the pride but also to see if anyone else out in the lands would make it known that they were still alive and just hiding out for now.
