Hmm...Haven't seen 'Passion of The Christ', but on a similar note, I have seen 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. In fact, I just finished another viewing of it (those songs are REALLY catchy).

Now, to connect this to The Lion King (in an attempt to make it semi on topic): The lyrics for the songs in Jesus Christ Superstar were written by Tim Rice of TLK fame. He also wrote the play adaptation of it. And the director of the movie adaptation went to my high school.

...Maybe I should stop before I start rambling on.

Anyway, on the said aniversary date, I'll have to have a tribute viewing of TLK.

Not every movie has the same releases in theaters.

For example, some movies are already in cinema in Holland, but not in Belgium.

I saw it 2 times in 1994 and once in 1995.

I saw the origional movie in theaters just once when I was, I think...8...or 7. I loved it. Blew me away. I don't....wait...should I start commenting on other stuff that's been said in the thread or are we trying to stick to the subject of the date? ^^;; otherwise I'll leave it alone.

Sidenote: For fun, I ought to mention-- I am one of those loveable blokes who chucks popcorn, candy, etc., laughs loudly and at inappropriate times, and shouts obscene things at the screen, but not because I'm not self-aware. I do it to tick theater patrons and soccer moms off =P hehe...what can I say? It's hyena nature. Can't be blamed
