I think that, over all, my favorite character is Simba, closely followed by Mufasa. I love seeing their relationship on-screen, so it's close between those two. I thnk after them, my closest favorite is Kovu...something about him stirs me.

Scar, on the other hand, is one of my favorite Disney villains (next to Maleficent, whom I believe pwnz), but I don't believe that to count.

Kovu all the way! he has to be one of my favourite characters ever, just his evil innocence if that makes sense? But in the first movie I'd have to go Mufasa, he's just so Kingly.

I think I like Sarabi most, then Nala and Zira. Kiara is also one of my personal favourites - well, all of them besides Timon, who still is my #1, of course. xP
