I love Naruto. Don't like the the dub, but I have been reading the manga for ages now. :3 It's one of my favourite series.
My favourite characters are Deidara, Sasori-danna, Haku, Kimimaro and Itachi. Done the odd bit of fanfic for it too. As for pairings, there are about a gazillion, but I mostly ship Sasori/Deidara, Haku/Zabuza, Itachi/Sasuke, Tayuya/Kimimaro and Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura.
I've never seen the anime...I know they play it on Cartoon Network and for that reason I avoid it. I do, however, read the manga on my lunch breaks...thus far it's doing a good job at keeping me entertained. ^_^
However, I must confess...I got so sick of seeing those ninja headband things at Otakon that now I kinda want to punch every kid I see wearing one.

YES NarutoI'm lovin' that anime/manga! Though, if I'm gonna watch the anime (which I won't until the filler-saga has ended) it must be in its original language... I'm refusing to watch the dub again

I've been reading it since before Shonen Jump put it out in their first issue >.> I hate the dub version- they dumbed it down horrible for children. I hate the 'Believe It' crap- he never said that in the Japanese version nor in the Manga. But yes, I've been obsessed since my 11th grade in High School... since I was 15 or 16- I'm 20 now...
This new wave of fans peeves me off at times too...

BTW about the dub, I think that the dubs alright... I prefer it to the translated version as I'm lazy and can't be arsed to continually stare at the usually unreadable writing at the bottom. The voices for the Japanese version are better though.
I'm also considering getting some Naruto stoof... headbands etc... does anyone from England know a reliable source for this stoof? Hardly anyone does it here... except the States... and then theres shipping costs... gah I'm too much like Shikamaru

i love Naruto its a really great manga"and anime" but the main resun is that iv feel preety mutch exaktly like naruto....and i mean exaktly...not that i have a monster fox in me but more relastic terms...but all and all exaktly the same.....
and i probebly act like him to xP nosy,impolsive un-focused but really serius when the situation demands it ^^

I guess a mix of Shikamaru and Sakura... Shikamaru for my laziness but intelligence if I could be bothered.. and Sakura for my *horrible, horrible obsession on someone who won't ever return my affection and my naiveity*<--my boyfriend (is so dead) I think I'm like Sakura because of my beauty *flounces off and magically turns into Ino*
Time-Skip!Gaara is awesome indeed.
Same with TS!Shika, when compared to his part I counter-part, however, on the whole I don't think he's that interesting. Kishimoto is really over doing it with the whole smoking thing though.

As far as Naruto, I've mainly been reading the manga. I'd recommend anyone else do so too if you're not already. BTW, Gaara has been my favourite Naruto character since day 1!

Hmm... I think I'm much like Shikamaru, for the same reasons as Dyani xP Then... I don't... know... o.O I dun think I've found anyone in the Naruto-cast that matches me perfectly
And yeah, Shads, you are the real-life Naruto. No kidding about it xP The only things missing are the blond hair and love for Ramen.
Then my favourite characters are definitely Neji, Shikamaru, Kankurou and Yondaime Hokage. Simple and clean.
