7 times for me too... dang HK you went crazy there in San Antonio and caught me up! I'm momentarily be tied with you when I see it in Orlando Florida this December...
I am pretty proud though that my seven times have been in 4 different U.S. cities (San Jose California, New York, Portland Oregon, Seattle Washington) and also overseas (Shanghai, China) and with four entirely different casts (Broadway, U.S. Gazelle Tour 2004, U.S. Gazelle Tour 2006, and Australian Cast)
That's given me a little different perspective on the show and it's interesting to note the difference I've seen each of those performances, because scenes are not exactly the same from theatre to theatre. Especially the Shanghai performance with the parts that were tailored to the Chinese audience, that was something else.
I've also been thinking about taking a weekend trip to some random city where TLKOB is playing and just flying down there to see the show a couple times and fly back, that would be fun. But it would have to be after Orlando...
Seen it once, and that'll probably be it for me. I much prefer the movie to the stage version.
