The Polar Plunge is a charity event in which people collect donations for whatever (usually special olympics) and then run into freezing cold water. It was 26ºF when we went in this morning and the water was a little below 50ºF. It was cold. Worth it, but cold. My group dressed in Doctor Who costumes and shouted "Geronimo!" as we ran in. Then we all took cover in the TARDIS. I have a video and stuff on my Facebook.

We are so much more complicated than our names.

I feel just like this guy...

Had such a crazy, exhausting day. I got 2 and a 1/2 hours sleep, worked for 8 hours from 6am. Stopped to fill up my car on the way home. After paying I noticed the fuel was leaking from my car... so thus began a 4 hour saga of calling roadside service, getting him to check it out and escort me to my repairer. Wasting an hour and a half until they had the time to have a look and see if they could fix it today. Which they couldn't. But found out it's going to cost me $390 to fix a car that I'm not even keeping because I'm currently looking for another one to buy! Then I had to figure out how the heck to get home, what bus to catch etc. Withdrew some money so I'd have small change to give the driver. For some reason he just told me to get on before I noticed he didn't even have any money... have they phased that out? I don't know, I haven't caught a bus in at least 3 years.

So 12 hours after leaving work this morning, I got home (though not entirely since the petrol station was like 50m from my house so while calling road service I went home for literally five mins to use the bathroom and refill my drink bottle ). So dead though. And it sucks because I had a committee meeting tonight for the bird association I'm in and couldn't go to it because of my car. Probably not a bad thing since I'm so exhausted. But what's also frustrating, is that now, on my day off tomorrow, I have to go out to pick up my car which is going to eat up a lot of time catching the bus back etc. I hate going out places on my days off. I just need that time for myself. Let's also not forget that catching the bus in 41C heat is never fun...

    Aww, Saf *hugs*

It feels a little off to post this GIF then, but it sums up pretty well how I'm often feeling recently, haha.

Still shocked over the missing airlines, No evidence at all except they found a hatch door on the sea surface.

So, I'm at work. I work in Security, and we have a secured parking lot. Most people have parking tags on their rear view mirror. It is most important regarding reserved spots...

they come up to..and they ask, I don't have a parking tag today. What do I do? Can I leave the property? So I asked, Did you have it when you came in? and they reply, No, but..how do I get out? Will it let me out? ......will what let you out? They are plastic tags, with numbers for reference....they do not grant you any access in our out.

I don't have one, and I come and go...so yes.
    So..so I can go?

Happy My little niece was born on Friday, and it was so exciting to get to meet her on Saturday. So happy for my brother and his wife. I'm not a kid person, but man is she one adorable baby.

The police and authority cancelled the concert on Saturday, right now I'm just blasting out my stereo to pump my heart.
