IBTL = In Before The Lock
    It's common on flame-ridden forums

Personally, I avoid sarcasm issues by using a l33t-esque style with deliberate mispellings, 'OMGOMG's, and lots of ones and exclamation points at the end.

    I.E. "OMGOMG g4ez r teh 3b1l!!!!11111111111111111"

Obvious cues not to take it serously

Gay parents shouldn't be able to adopt children because of the lack of a maternal and paternal presence, just like single parents can't adopt children either.

    Oooo...A triple sarcasm...

Naaah...you only need one good parent...

Yes, because I was following suit of the beginning statements. Hopefully that'll clarify itself for people who were insulted by my comment.

I did not know that society expressly forbid single parents to raise children. That's news to me.

I'll go read about this issue.

Also, my professor who once worked in a medical center said that homosexuality is biologically natural. I'll try to talk to her.

So then, you believe people rejected air conditioning and hanging around with tall people makes you tall. You're happy with the fact that females are property, and the blacks and whites never marry; and hell, I'm sure you've never met anyone who's been divorced. Straight people only raise straight children? Yup. Our countries only have one religion too, and of course we've never adapted to cars. Because you know, you don't see them everyday, or anything.

Maybe people should read the post, rather than seeing the title and jsut being "omg1! teh ebil!1".

Thanks for pointing that out Sam! That's what I was trying to say. It got kind of annoying to me that people couldn't see the sarcasm even after I pointed it out.

Do you really think she believes people rejected air conditioning, and hanging out with tall people make you tall, etc? I mean heck I am just repeating what she said.

Before she even posted that post, I underlined the sarcasm. Oy.

This is not a attack on you, or something, I just speak in general here ...

It's always easier, to read at least the whole first page, before you give an answer yourself.

Because then you would have known it
