You can't. I posted something the other day, not realizing that it was this forum. I tried to delete the post, thinking I could get rid of the thread, but it didn't work. It ended up being the thread about banning one-liners.
I thought you can't delete a post, whenever there is already a new post underneath.

Normally if you delete the first post in the thread that will delete the entire thread. It doesn't seem to work in The Promontory, though. That feature is probably admin-disabled.
