Star Trek legend, Leonard, "Spock" McCoy, dead at 83

Don't know how many Trek fans we have here, but it truly a the end of an era. I am saddened to announce that Leonard Nimoy, famous for bringing life to the half-Vulcan pop culture icon, Mr. Spock, has passed away after a long illness.

Nimoy was hospitalized earlier this week due to complications from "chronic obstructive pulmonary disease", a condition of the lungs caused from years of smoking.

In a fitting last comment to his fans, Spock tweeted 3 days ago, "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP".

All I can say is that Nimoy lived his catchphrase to the end- he "Lived long and prospered".

Rest in Peace Mr Leonard Nimoy. You are always be Sentinel and favorite Spock for me and all of us here. :( :hugs: :aww::emo::timonhug:




As this happens, I will take my consideration to cut down my cigarettes intake.

Oh man :( I'm no Trekkie myself, far from being one. But I still knew Nimoy was an awesome and very loved actor. I liked him in Fringe. His last words to his fans sure were very touching, and true.
