Server relocation

Dear members and visitors of Lea Halalela,

I just want to inform you that the server which hosts Lea Halalela will move to a new location soon.
The relocation will start on 23th November 2015 and will take place in several stages. The whole process will be completed during the first quarter of 2016. This procedure will lead to downtime of several hours during the night. That means you won't be able to visit this page. Rest assured that our provider does everything in their power to keep this planned downtime as short as possible. I'll inform you approximately about one or two weeks before the actual move takes place and give you a time frame when Lea Halalela will be down. So you all know what's going on.

And maybe it would be a good idea to use Feral's old temporary backup board during the time Lea is down.
Perhaps we can use Feral's old temporary backup forum whilte this board is down? This way I could keep you informed about what's going on. @Feral; do you still have the link of your board and would you be okay with this?

Unfortunatly, I deleted my old Webs account when they started making changes I highly disliked. All those sites are gone. I didn't think it was a big deal since you archived all the stuff in the temp forums. I use Weebly now. I could also build another temp forum easy enough.

Temporary forum are good while waiting for a downtime, or any related link that you put up there Kirauni. Facebook, Steam, Deviantart.

Thanks, @Feral. I understand why you deleted your old account and don't worry. My hoster informed me today when the relocation will take place.

The relocation will occur from 23/Nov/2015 00:00 h until 29/Nov/2015 20:00 h.

During that time, this site will temporarily not be available. According to our hoster, the estimated downtime will be from 20 to 70 minues maximum. So let's all hope the best.

In case the relocation doesn't work as planned, I'll set up a backup forum myself and post the link here within the next few days. So we'll be prepared. And of course, I'll backup the database and webspace before the relocation as well.

So next week it's going to happen. I've no idea when the downtime will take place. I can be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... you name it. But hopefully we won't notice the downtime at all and there'll be no lack of data.

All right... so the move took place this night (21.30 EST) and as expected, there were some minor problems with the data's transfer. However, things have been fixed and the board should be up and running again.

I'm sorry for this inconvenience and I hope you'll all be able to browse the board properly now. If you still got problems, please let me know and I'll try to fix things as soon as possible.
