First TLK sighting of this thread! :cheese:
This is what Leor and I spotted today in the 99p store:

We both agreed that it looks somewhat like it's been inspired from this picture of Simba. At least that's what the pose suggests. :p If it weren't for Leor, I wouldn't have even spotted it. He has a good eye for detail. ;)
That's awesome haha. I love the "GO! GO!"
I found this just now on DailyWhat...

I didn't understand until I realized I'm 27...
I'm double posting.
They've got Geno Segers (a former TLKoB Mufasa) saying "You're the one true king!" in the promo for the new Pair of Kings (Which he's on also) episode this week. I don't know, it made me laugh.
And also, this is a commercial airing during Dinosaur which features TWO former original TLKoB cast members. :D Sam Wright and Max Casella.
It's a TLKoB smorgasbord!
wtf  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv_44...layer_embedded
I like the "long-form version". ;)
Oh, Obama :p
Here's what I spotted in the new Cracked Photoshop contest, "If Classic Movies Were Remade by Michael Bay":

Hah, what a step forward on being a humble president.
Way to go President Obama.

Does this inspired by The Lion King?
It's from a Masters of the Universe new line, Masters of the Universe Classics.
What am i stuck in the Matrix while my true heart belongs to the Lion Kings?
What if they were tatoos?
Now that would be even creepier. :eww: At least make-up/face paint is able to be washed off.
Was looking for a video for one of the other threads and came across MST3K talking about The Lion King!

(Go to 3:06, where they're talking about Best Song)
:D
Hah! I knew that had to be done! Nice find! :D
Wow, that's great. I gotta see that movie sometime. :p Thanks for sharing. ;)
Nostalgia critic, about 40 seconds into this movie review :p

The nostalgia critic is great.
I shared these before on the old Lea, but I'll share them here again. ;) These are from a Lion King show I saw at the hotel when I was staying in the Dominican Republic last year:

Pumbaa looks as though he's about to give birth. :wtf: And Nala is missing from that last clip.
Here's a better clip from the show that I just found:

Just thought I'd share. :p
 I can't stop laughing at that pumbaa costume, it's so bad, haha. The broadway show is definitely better ;)
It's like... a TLK night for me over here.
http://i56.tinypic.com/25upmyr.jpg
 That's crazy but awesome! :D
^ I was just gonna post that! :p so amazing.. can't even imagine how small the brush would have been. I've also seen some from the same artist with scenes from the night before christmas and Tangled
Whoa, that's so preeeeety :ooo:
If I ever wore make-up, I would totally wear it like that. That's quite a work of art. Very pretty. :ooo:
wow! that's insane.....i wonder what it looks like with her eyes open :hmm:
The TLK make-up art was published in The Sun today and seemed to be the main feature. :ooo:
So I just had to scan it and show it here too. ;)

Haha, you beat me to it, KS  I saw that "article" too. Very nice :p
wow thats crazy cool! That girl deserves the press- so much talent.
Got one!!
Big Bang Theory.
Howard to Bernadette: "It's the circle of life sweety. One day our son will marry someone and it will kill you."
I don't know if any of you are familiar with the arcade game DDR..but needless to say, I was at the local arcade recently and I found CYFTLT as a step chart!! =o I was so sad because the step chart was a 14! (which if any of you know how ddr works that's like impossible to pass XD) I was excited for the find =P I also found a vid on youtube with it to show you how insane the step chart is lol

Lol, I've seen so many Lion King sightings that I can't even remember them all. :idiot:
I remember a few from the Simpsons though..
2 from the episode when they went to Africa, at one point you can see Pride Rock in the background. ^^ And another where you can see the animals walking in the sunrise/sunset.
http://www.mylionking.com/forum/down...le.php?id=2265 & http://www.mylionking.com/forum/down...le.php?id=2266
And another one from another episode..
Homer: "Armada? What's armada?"
Moe: "Nothing, what's armada with you?"
Lol. ^^
Oh, I remember that one from that Simpsons episode. :p That's definitely Pride Rock alright.
Some cool sightings there :D
I was in Target the other day looking at the books, and there was one that was about a cat and his life indoors. One of those inspirational books, with a picture on every page about this cat's life indoors. There was one page that said how domestic cats (apart from lions and tigers) are the only cats that can hold their tails upright while walking then underneath in parenthesis it said "suck on that, Simba".
Was watching QVC earlier and they were selling things inspired by the Smithsonian collection. One guy was talking about the historical objects in one of the museums (I forget which one, there's 19 ) and the Broadway Simba mask was in the background.
Edit: I'm listening to The Book of Mormon cast recording and in this song, they're finding out where they're going on their mission. One kid gets Uganda and he's all "What's that?" They tell him "Africa" and he goes, "Oh boy! Like Lion King!"
Edit 2: Another one. The villagers are singing about their saying for when things get bad. One of the missionaries goes "Does it mean no worries for the rest of our days?" The saying means something really nasty and blasphemous.
Apparently Justin Timberlake was a Simba's Pride fan ;)

No wonder they laughing
i watched the missing lynx , and they copied off of the circle of life.
Saw The Book of Mormon today! As HK has been pointing out....TONS of TLK references!!!! :D :cheese:
I was watching random Mika videos on Youtube last night. Does that sound familiar to anyone else a few seconds in? I did a double take.
