A few weeks ago I found Norwegian band called Moron Police through a friend. They're most probably my favorite thing to listen to right now. They're totally crazy and clearly don't take themselves too seriously (judging by the lyrics), but music is tight as hell with great melodies and riffs. It's not surprising that they only vary the tunes a little, but still a great OST.
Yes, there's quite a bit from the original, however I love the new pieces on this one and they flow so well from the original. I think it helps tie the two movies together though, and the more I listen, the more subtle differences I hear. Some very powerful moments in this soundtrack.
