Not another one! hahahaha ;) :p
Oh yes, more Simba's, and more CD's :cheese:
I can't wait to see the French cast ... And to hear "Can you feel the love tonight", the movie version in French is already beautiful.
And again our beloved HK made us laugh! What's with the Roger parts avatar
I just read, that "Le Roi Lion" will be on stage, somewhere at the end of 2007, so I was right with October, just not the year, hehe.
Huuuuh, that late? geez...Nath, have you posted the forum yet :p
And I just read that in June 2007 a South African production will come ...
So that's 3 new productions?
Korean (which will probably be English), French and South African.
OMG OMG South African! =D that is gonna be soooo awesome, I'm sure it'll be the best production! Cuz they are really gonna do it with their hearts!
I translated the text I saw about it.
Today Thomas Schumacher, president of Disney Theatrical Productions, together with componist Lebo M. and theater producent Pieter Toerin announced that there will be an African Lion King on June 6th, 2007 in Johannesburg (is that the same in English?) The cast will mostly be African people who already played in TLK productions. The theater, Montecasino, will be specially rebuild. It'll be a dream come true for TLK to move to South Africa, like Schumacher said "the circle will be complete".
It'll probably be in English though. Phantom was there and was in English. It was also mostly made up of stuff from it's Australian production. Wonder if it'll be the same for TLK :hmm:
To the SA production: Yeah I guess it'll be in English...I'm sure there are more African people that understand and speak English than English people that understand or speak Xhosa, Zulu or Afrikaans in South Africa...so probably English. And I'm sure they'll make some effort since it's actually the country it's supposed to be in :)
I hate double posting...but this thing is dying...and what are we gonna do about it?!?!
Btw. Nathalie, any word from London? =D
It cannot die. :hmm: What to do. Oh! I got the equipment to transfer the Jay Leno appearnace onto my computer. I just need to figure out how to use the thing and I'll have it up for you to see. :D
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!! *dances the crazy glistening Simba dance* He lives in you, !!!!!!!!!! I can't wait, I so can't wait!! I'm EXCITED in the real meaning of the word...I have no idea why I'm so excited but I am! =D
btw. another crazy avatar there ;)
