Adulthood

Katai felt sympathy for Miale and grabs hold of him in his mouth before taking he and the cubs to somewhere safe away from Anezi.

Miale opened his eyes he felt him self being picked up "Whats happening?" he said confused through the pain in his back

"It's ok kid..." he says taking all the cubs back towards the pridelands. "You all ok?"

"I don't know my back hurts" Miale said sadly "He chucked me after I bit his tail to distract him so my sister and her friend could get away" he said slightly angry at his sisters friend

Katai looks around at Miale's back, "Ouch..." he says after seeing a big scratch across it. "Don't worry, I'll get Asha to sort it out for you..." he gives Miale a quick nuzzle.

"Thank you I am most greatful" Miale said with a week smile "My Mom and dads gonna kill me because I came after you Starla" he said coldy and sighed "I told you not to go and you did"

"Who are your parents may I ask?" Katai asks curiously.

"My fathers Twilight and my mothers Shine" Miale replied "Same with Starla" he sighed

"Hmm...I'm not sure whether I've spoke to any of them...I will be though. Do you want to go back now?" he asks.

"Not yet....they will be sleeping still and I want to calm down abit first before i talk to them" Miale sighed sadly

"Well do you want to sleep out here? I can keep ya all warm if you want me to." Katai smiles to the cubs.

"Yeah sleep will do me good I think" Miale replied "Thank you again for comming to help us who knows what could of happened"

"That's ok...those outlands are nowhere for young cubs like yourself to go to." he sighs, "I'll sleep out here with you all tonight."

"Why do they hate us so much" Miale asked confused "No ones really told me why"

"I don't know...outlanders are just jerks anyway in my eyes." Katai sighs, "Maybe you should ask Simba."

"Maybe one day I don't think its the sorta thing he likes discusing" Miale replied "i don't blame him are they all like that one who hurt me" Miale questioned

"Some aren't but most are. The lion like him was obviously one of the nasty ones which you should stay clear of but you can never tell which outlander is nice and which one is nasty...it varies."

"Have you met any nice ones before" Miale questioned

"Not that I know of...the rogue lions can be nice although they're not outlanders."

"My father was a rouge" Miale said "He's a nice one"

"Yeah, that's what I said, there's nice rogues...I can easily get along with rogues too...although I originally come from another pride."

"My fathers pride was wiped out" Miale said "He dosn't speak of it much he lost his family and mate; I'm glad he ended up here all those years ago its such a close community"

"That's...sad." his ears droop sadly, "At least he does have a family now and a nice little cub like you." he smiles.

"Thanks" Miale smiled "Tell me a bit about your self; I've never seen you around before" Miale said "Your really kind"

"Let's see...I came here with the Funsani pride a few years ago now, left a few times and returned. During my stays here I've met and made various new friends and met up with a beautiful lioness...the one I was talking about earlier. I've had 4 cubs, which are all teens now." Katai smiles, "Anything else?"

"Are you offspring all like you" Miale asked "If they are then you really must be proud of them....is there anything else I should know" he smiled

"Hey!" said Blitz running towards Klowd and Starla "What happened!? I've just seen Katai bringing you back!" he said.

"We arived to the outlands" smiled Klowd "But an outlander discoveres us."said sadly.

"It was fun..I liked it.." smiled Starla "But....Dad annd Mom are gonna kill me,and now to Miale too..." she said sadly.

"Yeah I really don't know why he came" said Klowd.

"He always does the same..." she said "I'm going to talk to him. She walked towards where Miale was "Hey...." she said nuzzling his brother "How are you?" she asked looking at Miale's back "Maybe we have to tell dad about this..." she sighed sadly.

"I'll just get Asha to sort it out for you. ASHA!!!" Katai roars to catch her attention.

Miale groaned painfuly again "Thank you" he said as his wound was being cleaned.

He heard the three cubs talking Miale snapped his head up at them "You want to know why I came Klowd" Miale saide angrily "I came for my sister I didn't want anything happening to her....and from what I heard it wasn't the first time you met up with a outlander"

Starla was walking over to him and sat down

"No we don't" Miale said looking down "We can make something up if we have to; but it dosn't change anything Starla I'm still disapointed in you" he said looking away.

"The poor cubs...thank god I was there to save you...that evil outlander could've eaten you." Katai sighs.

"Poor cubs..." Katai sighs, "At least I scared him off for you though."

Starla lowered his head sadly "But...you didn't have to come there....I said you to stay here, without saying anything to mom and dad.." she said sadly "They're going to kill us..." she sighed.

"Well if you consider Kovu as an outlander, is not the first time" he said rolling his eyes.

"I know" Miale said sadly still looking away from Starla "I came back for you cause I care about you"

"I know...." said Starla cryig a little "Should we tell to dad and mom..." she said "They should be already awake..."

Miale didn't speak he just lay on his side staring at nothing.

"I know" Miale said sadly

" So....I'm going to tell them....and don't worry all was my fault..." she said sadly walking towards Twilight and Shine were.

Miale rolled over onto his side to look at Starla "No wait...I will come with you he said getting up painfully onto his feet and limped off towards his sister

"Okay then..." she said sadly walking towards their parents "Dad..." she said trembling when her arrive neat him.

Twilight was sat by the edge of the waterhole; Shine had gone out hunting.
Twilight turned round as they approached
"Hi Starla whats the matter?"

"Heh......there is something I would like to say to you..." she said crying a little.
