I totally agree with you Kiva.
When I got feelings for STM, he already had them for me... I told him how I felt, but I told him I don't want to get into a relationship until after we met and spent time together. We were both waiting for each other though. I didn't go out with anyone after I got feelings for STM, I wanted to meet him first because I had strong feelings for him and he had them for me too. (That's a rare thing for me...) And well, STM and I did get into a relationship a week after meeting and the rest is history.
I 100% agree with Kiva, but I don't really have anything to add on Sharifu's text.

Yes, being single and alergic to chocolate makes Valentines day abit of a downer for me. I will probably just ignore it. Can't deny I love those little candy hearts, though. :cheese:
As for crushes, everybody, including her, knows I like Akiko, whom, by the way, apologizes for not being more active.
I have the biggest most largest and hugest secret crush on someone but I am not telling you who he is. If I told you that, it wouldn't be a secret. =D
I know how you feel Roq, i've bin allergic to chocolate aswell, still am a little bit. Let us sob our valentine day away with something else? :pQuote:

I'll deside for the both of you then, that Belgium chocolats rule :cheese:
I don't have a crush on anyone on the forum here :) YET...!
I doubt I wouldn't get a crush on somebody sooner or later :D
To make this a little "spicy-er" ...
Do you guys think it's ok to have a crush on someone who is already taken?
Or how do you see a crush?
Is it like almost the same as being in love?
For me, crush is just something that'll dissapear (like, a crush on your teacher or something), and not the same as being in love.
Who hadn't had a crush on their teacher once, hehe ^_^
I sertainly wouldn't wanna fall in love with one of them, haha
A crush generally means that you are attracted to a person, not in love. Hopefully, all you Lea lovebirds do have a crush on your "mates", though.
There in nothing wrong with with having a crush on a taken person, as it is natural. However, you need to be carefull if you have a crush, and YOU are the one taken. This is one of the leading causes of jealous spouces, and for good reason.
I think the term 'crush" comes from how you wind up feeling when you realize that the person is taken, not interested, or not who you thought they were.
Crushes can really drive you mad, beleive me, I know.XD Crush feelings are rather strong, but they blind you, makes it hard for you to see the person perfectly. I think that a lot of the times, a crush is only based on looks. A great looking person isn' always a great person on the inside.

Spill the beans, sistah:cheese::p
well i think you can't really see 'crushes' as a bad thing, seen as you can't do anything about it. It just comes to that point.
Btw Nathalie, i'm not really th?t allergic to chocolate anymore, and it's not pathetic, we learn to live with it, the concequences of eating chocolate for me were eczema attacks on my hands. I still have it a little bit, but chocolate only made it worse.
(@ Xanahti) Exactly! Beautiful girls can be snobs on the inside, that's what I'm always afraid of. Because snobby girls often chase the weak ones.. And I don't like such people.
I WAS like that myself some time ago, but that changed. I can asure you I'm a whole new person =)

Yea i agree, but there's an other example on girls like that. For example, me and a few of my friends who are called 'goths' (yes im going to have it about the famous 'gothic' problem) well, they all think we're so horrible and depressed, but deep inside we're sooo extremely emotional xD
at least i am, i look so tough on the outside, a few people have told me. But im so scared and emotional when it comes to love and friendship. When someone's mad at me, even if i dont have a good relationship with that person, i can cry all week, im so pathetic x)
That's great Dij, it's wonderful to hear that people can change to the better. I doubt it's possible for everyone, but you could, so kudos to you!;)Quote:

I get eczima from dairy produtcs, but it's worth it. Actually, my problem with chocolate is that I am extremely caffine sensitive, meaning that even the slightest bit gives me massive migranes. That means no chocolate, coffee, and few select sodas. As you can guess, I pretty much live on water.
Yeah, I didn't say that ...
Maybe it just came out wrong *sorry Amy* didn't mean it in a harsh way or something.
And it's true, sometimes (I say: sometimes) the most beautifull boy/girl can be totally bad on the inside.
And the other way around.
Couldn't find any history on the word "crush" and why it is called that, but there is a nice definition:
A short-lived and unrequited love, infatuation, or Limerence, especially prevalent among young people but not unheard of for people of any age, as in "I have a crush on [insert person's name here]". A crush also refers to the object of this infatuation, as in the phrase "secret crush".
So there you go! "This message was brought to you by Kiva: THE lion for relief from emotional problems! Found sitting on the medicine aisle in your supermarket."
Now anyways, I think it is alright to have a crush on someone who is taken. You can't really help it for one, as you are attracted to who you are naturally. You just have to make sure that the crush doesn't turn into an obsession and you end up ruining someone's relationship, etc.
~Kiva
Roquivo and Nathalie: yeah sorry i misunderstood, my brain isnt in my head today x) sorry x/)
thanks for the info Kiva ;)
Well I agree with you Nathalie. You can't help what people you get crushes on. As long as you don't act upon it and mess up their relationship, like Kiva said. ;) I don't think it's the same thing as love. But I think love can develop from crushes. Of course, I've had crushes in the past, but never fell in love before I met STM.
awww:emo: thats so sweet...
Actually I don't like love ... It's scary and stuff ...
Why do you find it scary? I guess there's the fact that it means someone gets to know everything about you and if you're a very private person that can be scary, but the thing with love is you shouldn't be scared of that because that person WANTS to know everything about you, because they love you, for who you are. That's the beauty of love, you don't have to be afraid.
Though I guess there is always the fear of rejection if it doesn't work out. But in those cases you've just got to try and remember all the good qualities of that person and then look at why it didn't work out, perhaps it was for the best, though that can be very hard to do.
Yea well ... Love is great, but it's still scary ... :s Especially now, and I've never been the love-type exactly so...xX
you say that now, but with out warning, itl come back and kick you in the rear ;)
Eep xX More scary! xP
There is a saying..."Love is nature's trick to get you to reproduce."
In my case, it'll probably backfire on Nature because people like me should never have children...the world's crazy enough as it is without my genes running rampant through future generations of delinquents.
:jejeje:
Crushes don't always involve love though...at least not "leik-omg-i-want-ur-hot-body" love.
Apparently there are these things called "man-crushes" that aren't sexual (or even necessarily romantic) in nature...it's more about idolizing or something like that. I wouldn't know...I'm not a guy and thus have never had a "man-crush", nor am I really the idolizing type, but I think the concept is kinda cute. ^_^
Aww, you're so mean towards yourself, Wicked. :p *Hugs* ^^
I can't say love is scary... even thought it can hurt. I have been in love once before fell in love with Sharifu and after that first relationship ended I was really afraid to get in another one and I thought it is not even possible for me to fall in love again... So you guys can bet I was pretty confused when I realised I have start gotten feelings for Sharifu... but I wouldn't change the way I feel for anything, even thought it does feel really bad to be so far apart. Still being with Sharifu have made me happier then I ever have been.
awwww....
GROUP HUG, EVERYONE!!!!
Wheeeeeee! Group hug! :hugs:
I don't see how love can be scary... It's the best feeling in the world... But also it can hurt too if the relationship doesn't work out for one reason or another. It does hurt to be away from your love... But STM and I get used to it, but well we don't really have any other choice right now. But I'm really lucky for the time we have spent together in person.Quote:

Well love can be scary i agree... I have my own reasons for that. I've never really bin a love type aswell, and i've never really been with the person i loved so...
War is easy, love is hard!
Agreed Boos ;) :bleen:
