^I'll give you a hint: It's a double meaning riddle. ;)
Brilliant! I didn't know the second meaning. Thanks for clearing this one up , Feral!
And great job on the other riddle too, Leorgathar!
It didn't occur to me that they were room numbers. *lol*
Thank you for those nice riddles, Nalas!
 I was suspicious about 53 bicycle, I should have known about the playing cards brand.
Guess it's my turn to stump you guys. This is one I made up when I was little.

A man is driving his black car down an empty lonely wooded road in the middle of nowhere, when he comes across a big black dog in the middle of the road. There were no street lights/lamps on this road, the man did not have his headlights on, the moon was not out, and there was no houses or other cars anywhere around. How was the driver able to see the dog in time to stop?
I'll guess that the man and dog are both made of dark matter, which can pass through itself, and thus they never truly "hit" each other. But then, you did say you made up the riddle when you were little ...
^ That a very good answer
But let's see... there's no light source or whatsoever around, so I assume there's no light that can be reflected by the dog's eyes. I think that both the dog and the car being black is key here, so I first thought that they might actually be sign posts or something (figures are usually black on those), but that still doesn't make much sense, I guess xP
*LOL* That must have happened during daytime :cs_surprise_1:
Since it was dark, it just probably a dream or a nightmare for the driver. :p
I'm with Kirauni on this one
Yeah, I'm going for her guess.
Kirauni nailed it! It was a bright, sunny day!
The trick to this one is that I gave so much unneeded info that it detracts from the real clue, what I DIDN'T say. Also, the line " in the middle of nowhere" is key. By reading this bit before all the references to darkness, your mind automatically remembers it incorrectly as "in the middle of the night".
Yes, a very clever mind game. I don't have a real "riddle", but here we go:
August was the name of a young puppy that was always picking on older and larger animals.
One day he got into an argument with a lion. The next day was the first day of September.
Do you know why?
Hmm the lion ate the puppy, and so that was the last day of August. If that's the answer, wow, that's cruel
Haha, yes. You're right. That was the last of August. That poor puppy.
