And great pics of Times Square and the theatre - that's actually the first time I've ever seen the interior of the Minskoff. That Mufasa mask over the staircase is so cool!
Thanks so much for sharing! Next time you can get that snowglobe and the mask ornaments.
I was in a similar situation in the gift shop after I saw the show in NYC, I had already spent a lot and wanted to get the Japanese cast album and decided not to although I had the money-and ended up really regretting it since it's so rare and I couldn't find it anywhere else for like months afterward.
And, you're also the first one of us to see THE GREAT Wallace Smith on broadway! That's special in its own right.

Great Article on Gugwana, HK! I love reading those, especially when the actors reveal that the show really means something to them, like a connection to their homeland.
I love the irony of this line, too:
"Before joining "The Lion King," she appeared in a stage version of "Sarafina"....
I was like... WHAT?!?!?
I'll seriously try to post here more and get this thread rolling a bit - don't want to leave Amanda here alone. I'll see if I can come up with a contribution soon.
EDIT to HK: Wasn't it Gugwana we saw in Orlando? I think it was but I can't remember - and I'm too lazy to go look for the playbill ;) I know I've seen her as Rafiki at least once.
All I remember was you saying "She's LOUD!"
Gugwana is with the Cheetah company. We saw the other girl. Her name escapes me at the moment. I wish I could remember her name. That's going to drive me nuts until I get off my butt and go look.
