Robin moved like a machine, closer, and closer up beside a young antelope. Slowly, and slowly did he draw breath, has he ebbed on closer. All his concentration, his feeling, his very soul was absorbed into this single moment.Quote:

His heart remained a rhythm, as his mind bent, and the young gazelle leaned it's head down to graze; it's eyes away from the predator.
In half a second Robin had lurched from his position in the grass, off of all fours, and was lunging with maw ajar for the prey.
:die: lol
As he came down, he impacted it from behind and caught it's flank, only to be tumbled aside into the dirt and grass. With the killer instinct raging insid,e he rolled over and caught ballance, as the herd was already in a raging maddness for safety. Robin was a spark for speed, and now may be his chance. Thundering after the herd, his pads beat the earth below him, taking him faster and closer to his meal. His breath came out in huffs, as his nostrils flared and the dust rolled by. He was ebbing clsoer to the old and weak ones. They would have to do. His pads trembled like pillars smashing into stone, as he caught behind the old, and lunged for his meal, and their death. Catching the weak antelope by the hind quarters, Robin sank his teeth within and unsheathed his claws within the beasts hide, turning it over and dragging it down. Before the weak could regain it's footing, Robin caught it by thre throat, and brought it to it's death, as the fellow antelope galloped franticly away, leaving naught but clouds of dust.
