LOL LK, yeah he was at points a *really* good friend, muahahaha  But things had to move forward one way or another :)

And as many of you know Hasira_Kali and I went to Walt Disney World last weekend and saw TLKoB in Orlando and probably have been wondering what happened, sorry for the delay but I'll post ALL about our trip with pictures and everything in a separate thread soon!
do you happen to know which young simba you saw? my brother is in the tour that was in orlando
I'm pretty sure it was Trevor Jackson. Both of the young cubs sang really well, and while I didn't see Trevor come out the stage door I got to talk to Olivia Ford (young Nala) she was so cute!
Yeah it was Trevor. The cubs were pretty good... SJ on the other paw... oh SJ.
Haha, I know exactly how you feel there Hasira... I felt bad for him :p though he did kinda ruin Endless Night *shakes paw at him* heheQuote:

I had heard some clips of him before but I was hoping that he was just off on those nights. Apparently not. :( As Tim mentioned, he DID glisten a bit, so he's not totally hopeless.
HK hahahahahahahha  poooor SJ, he's such a poor thing...
p.s.: I have no idea how to thank you for that thing...but I'll make it up to you, I promise :D
then it wasnt my brother. trevor's still awesome too (he's a pain in the butt to babysit though) and olivia's really just too sweet for words
and you guys mustve seen sj on an off night. i've seen the show 4 times during this tour and he's noramlly really good
Yeah, I trust you, I haven't seen SJ, just heard stuff...or maybe our standards are set to high...HK saw Jason after all and there's Wallace...and Brian, it's hard to keep up with those guys. :)
oh, i agree. he's by no strecth my favorite simba, but he does a pretty good job at it
Let's put it this way... I enjoyed the performance of the understudy who had only done the role a few times to SJ. >.> <.<
 Btw, how do you like Brian's Endless Night HK? :)
p.s.: 2003 he just started really :D
Hmm, Can I hear it? :cheese:Quote:

It's pretty good. :D He does this weird squeaky thing towards the end, but that's ok. It was early in his run... he is forgiven. Unlike some...
squeaky,...his voice is that way, that's not him making it, haha. He has a different voice from other Simbas, could be annoying to someone even ;) But it's very powerful and has alot of charisma once you hear it live :)
I can't remember which line it was but it was right after Endless Night... the way he said it just cracked me up.
Awwww, tha talking!!?? Yes, screamy
It was when Nala's telling him that everyone thinks he dead. The way he says "They do?" was just too funny.
muahahaha, I find it adorable!! Like a real teenager
 That's actually the only track I've listened to. >.> <.< I need to listen to the rest of it.
I'm not much better...just the ones B sings in, LOL
There are a bunch of pretty cool TLK pics on Flickr from Hamburg. One of Simba and Rafiki sitting at a table to sign autographs and the actress has taken off her bamboo finger gloves and they're just lying there. Made me laugh. I'm so easily amused.
I just listened to Chow Down and found out another fact about Sarafina =D...she ate Banzai's father :bleen:. Y'all probably know that, but I'm highly amused. Adds a little more insight to the hyenas too...like they were trying to settle the score and really cared about their parents...um, I really dunno what I'm trying 2 say... :cheese:
I think it's just something the hyenas said. I doubt that Sarafina would eat a hyena. Yeah, lions kill hyenas, but they rarely eat them. And based on how the lions interact with the hyenas in the film, I doubt she'd stoop that low. Interesting thought though. :)
A friend of mine would really like to get sheet music for Endless Night, so if anyone has it or knows where to get it, please help! :D
Piano/Vocal? I have the book, but I don't have any of it scanned. If there's not a time limit, I can work on getting it for you when I get our desktop back. :D

Patrick Page Returns to Broadway's The Lion King Jan. 31
By Andrew Gans
January 31, 2007
Patrick Page, who has spent the last few months starring in the limited engagement of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas? The Musical, returns to Broadway's The Lion King Jan. 31.
Page will once again portray the evil Scar in the Tony-winning musical now playing the Minskoff Theatre. The company also features Tshidi Manye as Rafiki, Nathaniel Stampley as Mufasa, Jean Michelle Grier as Sarabi, Jeff Binder as Zazu, Danny Rutigliano as Timon, Tom Alan Robbins as Pumbaa, Josh Tower as Simba and Kissy Simmons as Nala.
Patrick Page's other Broadway credits include Decius Brutus opposite Denzel Washington in Broadway's Julius Caesar and over a thousand performances as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. Page is also an active classical actor, who won Washington, D.C.'s Helen Hayes Award for playing Iago opposite Avery Brooks' Othello The Shakespeare Theatre Company, where he also played Macbeth opposite Kelly McGillis. Page is married to actress and former "Trading Spaces" host Paige Davis.
The Lion King, according to press notes, "follows the adventures of lion cub Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of manhood and his future role as king."
The Lion King originally opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre Nov. 13, 1997. Directed by Julie Taymor ? who became the first woman to ever receive a Tony Award for Best Director of a Musical ? The Lion King has become an international hit with productions playing all around the globe. In fact, the Elton John-Tim Rice musical has won over 30 major awards. Those include six Tony Awards, including one for Best Musical; eight Drama Desk Awards; six Outer Critics Circle Awards; two Sir Laurence Oliviers; the Evening Standard Award for Best Theatrical Event; and three Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards.

I was wondering what happened to Nathaniel. He was in the Cheetah cast and then he wasn't. But yay for him! :D

Shenzi\Banzai: And having parents eaten makes us mad!
^ They were referring to Nala...so another thing not revealed in the film. So Sarafina has an affinity for hyena!!!
I'm aware of the lyrics. ;) I'm saying, they were taunting the cubs, so they probably just pulled it out of nowhere to try to get a reaction from the cubs. Kind of to scare them.
HK, you are wonderful, I'd appreciate that, she'd kill for the piano thing, take your time! and Thank you, you're just amazing! :)
I'm seeing the show again in 9 days. I was wondering if there was anyone that has seen the Cheetah company recently. Any changes? Good? Bad? Indifferent? I can't wait to see this cast again. :D ;)
I'm getting excited again. Aaaanyway... I found this on Playbill Australia's merchandise shop. I've never seen it before and it kind of weirds me out.

Who's that Simba again on your Avie HK?
That is... ummm. Let me check.
Shoot, the picture isn't labeled. He's one of the tour guys though. I'm thinking Brandon Victor Dixon? :hmm:
Yeah he is. Whoot! Go me!
Check out his gallery, there's a picture there. ;) http://www.brandonvictordixon.com/
 One review describes him as "... muscular, manly, but still playfully pouncey..."
Wow, they made a souvenir of the ghost mask! That is sooo cool but yeah it is very weird... a candy puzzle? It's like eating Mufasa's spirit. :eww:
Have fun in Austin, wish I was there too.
<currently experiencing TLKOB withdrawal symptoms which will continue until I have definite plans to see the show again>
I know what that's like, Tim. :( It hurts physically sometimes.
My friend has a London script but he says he won't give it to me unless I marry him. It's tempting.
oh you get two in one, how cool is that! You only need to ask him if he's prepaired to dress as Simba and roar trough you bedroom at any given occasion ;)
 He's always complaining about the Simba-thing. His "competition" he calls them.
 I love it, so cool he plays the game! ;)
