Don't you have the booklet with your CD ?
No. :(
HK's avatar, I'm lovin it!!! XD
I'm almost positive that the booklet contains the Japanese lyrics but unfortunately that CD case is currently on display at the Puyallup Fair with my TLK collection until next week (I take my display down on Tuesday)
So after that I'll be able to help you, nothing much I can do now...
:hmm:
It's ok Tim. :) No rush.
Z asked me to host and post these for her. :)
Presenting... the elusive... most rare... BRIAN THEMBA MAKIWANE IN HIS COSTUME! :D

Nala is Alexia Khadime.
 You just had to make that opening didn't you ;)
Well it's true! Those are the only two.
Great, now that I have the PERFECT 'excuse' for my parents to take me to TLKoB, or at least go halvsies, the show's out of town! :tears: I'm taking 'music appreciation' at the college to fill out art credits I can't get by homeschooling, and I have to visit two different professional musical events and review them! The list goes:
Houston Grand Opera
Broadway in Houston
etc, etc.
Dangit! TLK is musical beyond words, what with the African influence and stuff! PERFECT. Dangdangdang!
Sorry, just had to vent... :alone:
Awww that sucks Kiara. :( I'm sure there are some other good shows coming through that you could see. They're not TLK but they might be able to help you with your coursework. :)
I have them now!!!Quote:

Yes, the booklet has the entire Japanese lyrics in Hiragana (Kanji is really Chinese that the Japanese stole, Hiragana is their distinct "alphabet")
Would you like all the songs? If I were to scan it it would take a long time... but I think that's the only way I can get them online. Let me know what you would like me to do, and I'll try to get it done by this weekend.
Tim
Everyone, another Simba has been found, you are gonna like this:
www.myspace.com/turangamerito
:D
Z... you're like a stalker. I love the image in his backgroud though. :)
This prooves she has nothing better to do then find Simba's on myspace :p
Nice find Zaya! I should send him a message, I wonder if he remembers me from Shanghai... :hmm:
I imagine not too many people went to the stage door over there. And they've only got 10 days left over there until the Aussie cast is done, the show wraps up October 12th. One can bet that will be a very emotional performance on that night.
Stalker?!?!? I'm no stalker...I'm browsing, because I keep "meeting" new LK people trough Brian's page...there are so many!

Oh and the first one... Simba and Nala find Rafiki's special "weed"

Interesting! But I usualy like songs in their original language. There are so many versions on youtube that it could listen to them all day. If you are interested i add some links.;)
Anyway, I don't think we have ever meet in this thread. I'm Rok (my real name).
Hiya Rok ^_^
Yeah, youtube is full of the good stuff, haha.
I love Lion King in different languages <333 *me loves it* haha :cheese:
Me too.. i heard so many of them that i couldn't belive it (russian version of We are one is so good to me). I like remixes and diferent versions too. I'm collecting all TLK songs. You know how it goes... Download this, ask for that, it really entertains me.
Hehe, yeah, I know how it goes ... Some people started calling me a soundtrack freak (only from TLK soundtrack though).
Getting mp3's is easy ... getting the original CD's, that's another story :s
What I love most about the different language versions of TLKoB is the different orchestrations for each production. I think my favourite is the Japanese one. The orchestrations for the films are pretty much the same across the board, but it's still cool to hear them in different languages. :D
I don't like that little part in CYFTLT though, on the English CD you don't have it, but on all the others you do, just before they start singing again in the song after a minute or so just hearing the music, you hear this trumpet thing or something, I don't really like that little part.
 It's a wayward elephant.
No, I don't know what it is. :hmm:
So, you asked me in PM to add some links about TLK music in diferend languages as I said. It's so simple that you dont need links. Just go on www.youtube.com and type song's name.
I think that this is even better:
http://www.pridelands.ru/?p=music
just click on an album, there is everything.
Aaah, the well known Russian site ...
yup... one of the best for music which i know.
Ooooh, I seem to have missed this post o_OQuote:

But it would be great if you could manage somehow to put the lyrics on-line :D
I'd like to sing (read: yell, lol) along =D
Sure, I'll do it sometime this week. You can read Japanese, Nath???
WOWSER! That would be interesting to see. Possibly, this coming summer I might be heading to see the TLKOB in New York or Philadephia?
I'm not sure. I heard from a good friend of mine went to both theaters and he said the one in New York is way better than the one in philly.
I even asked him to get me the book pamphlet so I can get more info and to have it for me.
Ever since it came to New York, I always wanted to go see it and also if I have time to get tickets to see the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show right there too. I have to see when I can buy the tickets.
That's cool and I'm interested to see the lyrics.
I'm gunna see TLKoB for my birthday in December. ^__^
Hmm.. I still have to see that show, and I will. Whatever it takes.
I had a chance to see it while it was in Tucson, but I couldn't afford the tickets. But my friend saw it a bunch of times because he worked events for the Tucson Community Center and other things such as U of A football games...then he went and got himself fired...:D
No, hahaQuote:

But it's easier to try and sing a long, when you see the lyrics ^_^
Pat and I are going to go see it in Orlando in January while I'm over in Florida! :D I can't wait :cheese: hehe, I've already seen it but I'd like to see it again and he wants to see it as well so it works out... otherwise I would've just dragged him there anyway :p Nah.. I wouldn't have done that. It'll be cool to see it again though and be able to take more of the stuff in :)
Aww that's too bad you couldn't afford seeing TLKoB Jeff. :( I hope you can see it someday though.
And Bec, I'm so glad you and Pat are going to see it. ^^ I'm sure he'll love it.
Hahaha! Finaly i have music everywhere! I bought an iPod, and first thing what i put on it was TLKoB! I'm sooo happy now! haha!
And another thing is: i was on youtube again, nnd i watched some videos of TLKoB. They are so great. I stoped watching very soon becouse, I want to see it in reality. I can't wait that day.
