lol you think he's pretty cute huh ;) :rawr:
I'm not surprised he was named 'International Top Male Model' though.
Sure I'll get some caps for ya, I'll post them soon... probably by tonight after I get a little homework done.
Yeah he is. Though I'm finding myself fancying Wallace Smith at the moment. Since he's my wallpaper I get distracted by him when I'm trying to do homework. It's bad. Thanks for the caps. No rush. :)
Yes Wallace was fantastic as Simba both times I saw him in Portland. Not quite as good looking as Roger Wright IMO but... nothing I'm too concerned with *wink*
This was kind of challenging because on the DVD they only show him for a few frames at a time and they always "blend" the images so when you try to take caps you get two images like the third "Endless night" pic where you can see screenwriter Irene Mecchi in the bg like a "ghost," I like the way that one turned out so I kept it... I'll be using these for my desktop bg's myself and if anyone else out there wants to use them go ahead. Just don't report me to Disney...
Anyway here are your pics! I made them 640x480 normal size so you can use them as wallpapers.

Ooooh Thanks so much. :D So sweaty  I remember when I saw the show in NY, Jason's makeup was running down into his costume. My sister was teasing me that I'd love the job of wiping it up.
Wow, you were able to catch the show on Broadway while Jason Raize was performing? That would have been a real treat for me to experience... you're lucky! I actually hardly knew anything about the show before I really got into TLK hardcore in late 2003, and by then it had been running for six years!
Yeah, the role of Simba is so physical, how could someone NOT sweat when they're up there? I think that would be embarassing especially if you sweat a lot (Roger looks like he does). And you're very welcome. I felt like taking a break from studying anyway :)
Hey Hey!! true story!! my friend's mother was one of the security gaurds back stage so she got us passes to met some of the people! I got a kiss from the lady that played Sarabi ^.^
Very cool, was this in NYC too or in one of the touring casts?Quote:

Yeah it was nice. Right after the cast recording came out I learned that I had seen him in Jesus Christ Superstar as Pilate when the tour came through here. I waited by the stage door for him but there was some special event going on that night so the guard said the cast wouldn't be coming out. I was so sad. :( And then when he passed away. I didn't listen to the CD for almost a year. :(Quote:

ya, its so sad he took his life...
The musical in The Netherlands will end in August 2006.
The last Sunday of the month is the last time it will play.
After that the costumes, set, etc ... will move to Paris, where as of then the French "Lion King" musical will start.
Just thought I'd mention it :)
Wow, Paris??? That's really cool, I think the French will really appreciate the show because their culture is already so steeped in artisanship. That's also good to hear because it means that Disney is still trying to invest in the show and that it will probably keep going strong for a number of years now.
I can't wait to hear the French TLKOB soundtrack! Thanks for the info Nath!
Tim
Oh, I forgot, another TLK soundtrack / CD to get
haha
Yay Paris! Maybe it'll be there when I get my butt over there.

*aaaaaaa* I knew I once posted it in here ...
They are still looking for people to audition ... So if anyone is interested :D haha
pfff i WISH!!!!
my dream is to be on TLKoB:p
That's so cool TLKoB is going to France. The same city Disneyland is in too! :p
Only about a month until I see TLKoB again. Second row with my Lea buddies! Yay!
*hopes really hard* that I can make it to London aswell in August :D
No way I can get Bart to the Dutch version before it ends.
I told him yesterday they would stop in August, and he went like: oh, nice ...
:s
Why wont he go?
He isn't much of a TLK fan, and he just doesn't like something like that.
And I can't find other to go, because they aren't "fan enough" to pay so much money for it.
I won't pay so much for it either (2nd cheapest are good enough for me) but then in the end when you wanna arrange everything, they suddenly don't wanna go anymore.
Ow well, I still have that 1 DVD + CD's o_O haha
