Very cool KS. I'm not much of a dinosaur fan though. I like drawing people, and cats, cats, cats. BIG cats.

Cool KS! A dinosaur! (Nice coloring!) Although raptors don't drag their tails on the ground like that... They use them for balance... ;)

Oh well...thanks anyway Sharifu. :) Most of the raptor's tail is cut off anyways...(couldn't fit it all on the pic. ;))

I read a post of Roquivo's today and it really got me thinking about a few things and I really appreciate the fact that he said it as it was just a really nice thing to say. So anyway, here's a pic that I drew of a wolf for Roquivo. :D

Here's a project I've been working on in Basic 3-D Art for the past few weeks; a Relief-Sculpture Picture Frame:

Here's how I made it:

1) X-Acto knife cut the frame out of thick special cardstock/board.
2) X-Acto knife cut and glue the Sun and Simba pieces onto the frame. That was hard; small details and x-acto knifes don't work well. There are two layers of this on the spiral on the sun.
3) Use wood filler to texturize the whole thing.
4) Semi-mix two colors of paint: light blue and dark green; sorta makes teal but leaves swatches of both original colors.
5) Put metallic paint on the whole thing -- I chose copper, for it complimented the other colors well. I had to dilute the metallic on most of the frame so not to overdo it, but on the two cut-outs I put it on thick.
6) Made a stand and wall-hanger for the back, as well as creating the slot for the picture.
7) Print out a screenshot on high-quality glossy paper!

And you said "5 minutes, that's why it sucks" in the "time taken" box; you shouldn't think your art sucks, even if it only took 5 minutes. The thing is, there's no other exactly like it on Earth, it's a complete creation from your mind, which not only shows the creative ability of any artist, but the elegance of the human mind to be able to create a mixture of lines and color to appeal to, portray significance, and communicate with others. There's nothing in the known universe that can do that to that extent other than a human. Have pride in your work, even if it took just a few minutes, you made it and through it have not only become better, but also had some sort of fulfillment making it. That is, after all, why people make art. :D

I really like your art, but my opinion should mean nothing when it comes to judging the value of a piece of artwork, it's all based on how the artist views the piece. =D There's quite a few people who've told me that my art is nothing special or good; I don't give a damn, it's up to me to decide how good it is and I think it's great. :)
