I don't mean to argue, but I looked into it, and while animals can sometimes make a noise that sounds like a human word, they cannot converse with humans useing language. Animals use sounds or actions to tell us things, but they can't speak.

now, this all depends on what your definition of 'talk' is. If it is simply communication in any form, then yes different species of animals can talk. If it is to vocalize, yes a different specie of animal can talk. If it is vocalizing in the languages of the homo sapiens, then i'd have to say no, a different specie can't talk.
