think i'll have a go at doing more
So good to see some more artists around the place :D Pics are looking good, Scar has that typical sarcastic, unamused expression :p Can't wait to see some more recent stuff! :D
yes scar is unimpressed with mufassa. im afraid theres no recent work but indeed i shall draw more
What's this? More fan art, no way!! :idiot:

Ooh I like that one, Azzy! Of course I like yours and everyone's work. XD
hey, i like that one! it looks good =P
Azzy those both look great! I love Taka's pose - it conveys his whole attitude.
Azzy! both of your works are good, I like the colours you used in them :)
Oh wow, you're on fire with your uploads lately, Azzy. I wish the same could be said about me. I like the one you just posted, especially the bright and bold colours in there. Again, Scar has his typical "dry" expression. The Mufasa one is great too, I struggle to draw him myself. Great job. ^^
And what's this? New artwork from KS? Never! :gasp:
Now time for something a little more traditional. ;)
Last Monday I bought myself a new sketch book, and I couldn't help but use that as an excuse to try my hand on working on some new pictures (like I said in the Art Dilemma Thread, it really helps to try out something new when you're going through an art block). This time I decided to use my Graphic Soft pencils instead and do something a bit more traditional.
Here, you can see Katai (it's Katai, not Simba, as you can see with the little tuft of hair in the middle of his forehead ;)) making his way across some mountains and lakes. I could've really done with my 9B pencil for some darker shades (it broke a while ago :woe:) but I'm happy with the contrast and shading in general. So much that I've framed it on my wall too. :D The sky could be a bit better though, I think.
And I'll let you in on a secret... an eraser comes in very handy for lighter tones. Smudging with a tissue is good too. :secret:

all your pics are awesome :cheese:
It's a really gorgeous drawing, as I said before :cheese: I love your shading technique with pencils, it's really good ;)
Thanks so much everybody!! :D
KS, that pic is amazing! I do miss using traditional media but I just need to have the patience for it, plus it's harder on my hand/elbow. You've done a fantastic job with the shading, I love how his mane turned out and his eyes, very cool! :cheese:
That looks really nice, KS :) I love the shading, especially on the mane and background! ^^
Silly crossover fan art time :idiot:

:wow: that is soooooo freaking awesome!! :D
This thread is too quiet - we need more art! :p
Here's one of my recent "big ones":

A commission for Levin of his two characters, Levin and Velix :) Firefox-users, right click and select "View image" to see the full version. I don't know how to do it in other browsers... xD
That came out quite good, I really like it :) I read part of Levin's story when he was writing it, and I quite enjoyed it, I wonder how far has he gone now :ooo:
Gawd, I should get myself into drawing more, or at least finish the drawings I have on hold :woe:
They are really awesome kanu =)
Many thanks, you two! ^^
You guys are making me really want to draw more TLK art again. There's so much awesome art in this thread.
I don't do as much TLK stuff these days, but here's a commission I did for Talfasi recently:
