^ My ever increasingly sluggish technology xP Both my phone and computer seem to be starting to slow down... I don't like it.
< So tired. And yet I am certain that I will stay awake for at least another hour.
v What's the best way to settle down for the night?
-
^ Welcome to my world, haha. Sometimes I just turn off my computer and then satisfy my temptation to keep browsing on internet with my phone while already in bed. Eventually it gets tiring to look at my phone's screen and I just leave it to try and sleep. Not exactly the best way, but I guess it helps xP
< About to head to the park to do some jogging before it gets dark, hopefully it won't rain today.
v Do you enjoy being alone for a prolonged time?
-
^ Yep. Alone time is good, but also spending time with others is good too. Still there's nothing better than having a moment or two of peace to yourself.
< Was asleep and is now wide awake again. -_- Maybe it's better if I put my phone down (and turn it off) so I don't keep looking at the screen... xP
v Ever wished you had magical powers to do a variety of things? If so which power would it be?
-
^Oooh, magical powers... lets see, nothing too elaborate I wouldn't think. Maybe the ability to magically generate objects/food that I needed/wanted... but nothing too excessive like cars/money, it would be smaller things. Otherwise, maybe healing/bringing back to life animals, or the ability to connect or speak with them. So many options :D
< I was supposed to spend all of this afternoon tidying up my place for an open inspection tomorrow, but I've had a killer headache all day that makes me get nausea when I move around, so now I'm so behind with everything :(
V Do you have a favourite book? If not, TV show? Why is it your favourite?
-
^ Well I dont have such a thing as favorite book,I like too many.I have however read "The horse and his boy"from the Narnia series many
many times. It was the first narnia book I read as a kid and I absolutely loved the idea of talking animals. And it was full of adventure:)
< Waiting for my flight to Amsterdam in Rome.I feel so dead and sleepy..I've been waiting since 7 in the
morning,one more hour to go - -
v If you could, what kind of wild animal would you adopt?
-
^ Well, if we're ignoring all the ethics and pretending that it in no way would be an issue. Possibly a bird of prey, Wedge-tailed eagle of Square-tailed Kite perhaps. Otherwise, a cheetah or serval. Or a quoll perhaps... I don't know, too many options :p
< I'm an Aunty again! My new little nephew was born yesterday morning. Very exciting :D
V Are you an Aunty/Uncle, if not, do you want kids of your own?
-
^ With my current status and mental disability? would be no. :p But luckily I have a nephew and Nieces, ;)
< http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-28891322 :(
V do you ever cry on public or national funeral before?
-
^ I don't think so, at least.
< Oh, man. Suddenly all the awesome comes at me at once and I may have to choose one thing or the other... D: I'm so proud of my Art Director position at the student union and do not want to let it go, but there is a chance that an actual, real job opportunity at my dream studio is coming my way too. I'm really not sure if I could handle them both at the same time. What to do, what to do... :scareek:
v How do you tackle difficult decisions?
-
^ Considering the dilemma you're facing, I wouldn't be so sure myself either of what to do, but I guess it's all about taking your time to analize both options, taking very well in mind the pros and cons (I'd say that especially the cons) to make your decision. Maybe if it's possible taking one decision without entirely abandoning the other?
< Wow, it seems that I'll have to do a PowerPoint presentation of my clinical case and present it in front of many doctors as my thesis on September 12. Basically, I have to convince them that the treatment I'm researching is the right way to go. I know it's in less than 3 weeks, but one can't be too calm about this. I'll be nervous, very nervous :eww:
v What do you do to help you calm down when you're nervous?
-
^ turn up the music
< just packing up the cupcakes mum made for me to take into work this morning
V what's your favourite cake to eat ?
-
^There are many cakes I love baking and eating. At the moment, I'd go for a New York Cheesecake.
< Enjoys reading the Lion King Comics, even if they are a bit off-canon at times.
V Do you like the Lion King Comics?
-
^ I really haven't had a chance to read all of them, but I liked the ones I did read.
< I'm currently being tortured by the smells of dinner in the oven.
V What little things torture you?
-
^ bad nerves before a gig, or meeting someone new
< has a new queen size bed, now Ava can spread out and sleep with me :relax:
V Have you started your Christmas shopping ?
-
^ Yes, I've already started to buy a couple of things. I'm early this year :D
< Has some problems with a broken hard disk drive. But, thank God, I was able to recover my files.
V Have you ever had a really broken HDD? And do you have backups of your data?
-
^ mums pc the hard drive , something wrong. we will have to pay for the computer shop to come look :(
< Has 2 more disney princess parties to do this weekend.. Elsa and Elsa :lalala:
V did you have birthday cakes when growing up, if you did, what was your favourite one ?
-
^ Oh yes, There had always been cake in my childhood birthdays. Some of them had double themes, since I share a birthday with my twin brother. There was a TLK one with Simba's face on it, which I loved, but I think my favourite was a dinosaur themed one for my... 4th or 5th birthday, I think. It had toy dinosaurs over a prehistoric lanscape, it even had a carved river, and a volcano! It was awesome xD
< Ugh, having a slow day at work. No patients today and nothing else to do. So boring :cs_head:
v what's your best cure for boredom during a slow day at work?
-
^Uh, other than phone chat/whatsapp I think it would be inappropriate to mention another habit in a lion king forum.
< Fendi, dealing with death as usual.
V do you ever feel startled that someone close to you (more than 3 people) just move on into the next world less than a year?
-
^Not sure what the question means exactly...if you are talking about death then I mean I guess if it is sudden and unexpected. Death in and of itself though I feel is just a natural part of being alive so I don't know if I would say I'm bothered by the idea of it. I also find comfort in what I believe so it makes it easier to deal with I think. If you're talking about friends/family moving on with life as in like moving away then I suppose that, as before, if it is unexpected then yeah that would be unsettling. Whatever you meant it sounds like you've had a rough time and I hope things get better for you. *hugs*
<Is dying from how hot it is in her apartment. I mean, I'm grateful as I hate being cold but....I'm sweating and my candy is melting. xD I wish I could adjust the thermostat. *sigh* Ah well. The cost of living in a cheap old apartment I suppose.
V What is something off of your "bucket list?" Like, something you want to accomplish before you die?
-
^ work at Disneyland
< Have an audition this week (they are here in Aussie)
V Have you started your Christmas shopping yet ?
-
^ Given that Christmas has passed, I think it's safe to say yes  I did get all my presents on time, then again. Didn't buy for anyone except Pat this year because we didn't have the money.
< Just came back from seeing The Good Dinosaur, legs are somehow still sore from work even after sitting in a theater for almost 2 hours!
V The best moment from this Christmas?
