Watching Harry POtter and the Goblet of Fire.
Sorting out some payments. Fun, fun xP
Doing Lioden commissions, watching Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol (I bought a bunch of used DVDs a few days ago and I'm watching them all to make sure they work as I only have a few days to return them if not), and contemplating what things I need to get checked off of my to-do list today.
Resting, sitting down. Today I learned that after a month of being sick and barely moving around the house and still with a bit of a chest infection, that I wasn't ready for a 6km hike. Still, it's a bit late now :p I had a great time though, it's been too long since I got to go birding.
Itching. Itching-itching-itching-itching, omg. I also went hiking this weekend, an impromptu excursion so I didn't have my DEET bug spray on, only the lightweight stuff, and was wearing shorts. BAD move, bad-bad move, the place was a hot-bed of chiggers. They were on me in droves, the itching and welts are terrible. Chicken pox wasn't this bad, nothing in memory has been this itchy D: *cries & joins the hospital recovery wing, lol*
Staring into space. Because that's all I really feel like doing. So tired.
Totally understand that :C That's actually why I haven't been around the internet, on any of the boards really, lately, I think I have a health thing happening. Hypothyroid or some hormonal malfunctioning they're looking in to. And the fatigue has been remarkable, I'm not used to feeling totally bushed. Lazy yes :P But not bushed to where its like...one thought here....another there....none of them linking up....none of them compelling enough to make your arm move or raise itself.... *stare*
Really hoping that whatever they find can be fixed and completely reversed and wholly undone/erased by medication, lol.
Anyway.... Right now I am liberally applying calamine lotion and letting it dry so I can stop itching long enough to crawl into bed & fall asleep.
I think it was hyperthyroidism that my mum had, in any case, she now takes a daily pill to keep the hormones in balance. Simple enough fix, I hope it's nothing too serious though.
Not sure what I was thinking, after hiking 6km yesterday, working from 6am-midday today, as soon as I got home I mowed the lawns, set up the rabbit pen on the lawn, swept, vacuumed, scrubbed and mopped the laundry, cleaned the toilet and the vanity. Now my body hurts all over, lol. Still, it's quite a good amount to achieve in 2 and 1/2 hours. Just waiting for the laundry floor to dry now so I can re-install the bunny :)
^ *nods* Yeah, I'm just kind of assuming at this point that its a thyroid problem, my mom has it too and it kicked in on her at around my age, so. Kinda not happy about the prospect of needing a prescription the rest of my life but...considering the other hormonal problems they're checking me for are kidneys, ovary, pituitary and lymph node things, I'll take the easy fix, LOL. I'm pretty sure it's thyroid though. As long as they symptoms go away with medication, I'm hearing mixed reports :-/
And OMG, its the "Wow, I'm way over-tired grueling physical activity before you crash since you know you're gonna be feeling the last few days anyway" insane chore rampage! Hahaha, totally do that too!
Probably the *only* time I'm ambitious about cleaning if I'm completely honest really, lol.
And I'm.....really avoiding showering for some inexplicable reason, right now.
That's just it, while a thyroid problem isn't great, it's certainly better than a lot of alternatives. Best wishes.
Well I figured that if I sat down to relax after work, I would never actually get the motivation afterwards to do anything, so I just jumped straight into it.
And I avoid showers at night time, because once I shower, I have to go to bed, and once I go to bed, I have to get up for work the next day :p
Worst case scenario is that I'll be hooked on pills for the rest of my life too, and not just 1 but different ones, depending on how I'm doing.
I don't like it eather, at all ... but since they help, I guess it's not that bad.
Sitting and fighting off sleep. This week has kicked my butt. But I'm hoping it'll be worth it this year. I want to have a happy school year.
Eating a Jamaican Meat Patty.
Waiting for Pat to finish getting ready so we can go to an 18th birthday lunch :)
