^ depends on the situation, but I'd say yes.

^ My checked luggage, yes. My carry-on, no. :lol: It's the camera equipment and I don't like to take the carry-on sized suite cases.

< Feeling pretty good right now. Sore muscles, but it's manageable. Last time I was coming off steroids, I couldn't even wear clothes my muscles were so sore. :cringe:

V Last thing you dropped and broke was ?

^ A glass, though I didn't even drop it, I knocked it from the kitchen bench, into the sink and it still broke. Wouldn't have thought it would, but too bad I suppose.

< Just chillaxing after a reasonably busy day/week. It's nice to have some time just to sit on the couch and zone-out, hoping to get a little nap in too :)

v What's been the highlight of your week?

^ The highlight of this current week? Well it hasn't happened yet but on Saturday Petteri and I will be driving up north to Portland for Petteri's biometrics for his green card. (That just means taking his photo, fingerprints and signature to make his new green card) But we made a little trip out of it for a few days it so I am looking forward to that. We will be going to the Oregon Coast Aquarium which is rated one of the 10 best aquariums in the country, and we will be going to the Multnomah Falls Lodge for dinner and go hiking on some of their trails that day. The photos look really beautiful there, their waterfalls look amazing. :)

< Just resting before work, kind of glad I don't start work today until 12:00 pm and I only work 5 hours. I feel so sore today.

v Any trip or vacation you are looking forward to in the near future? Even if it's just a short weekend trip. :) If so, where are you going?

^ Yes! A few of them, even. On the 14th of July me and Adam are travelling back to the UK together and I will stay over for about a month, so that's a trip I look forward to. Then while I'm there we'll be going to Birmingham to see The Lion King on Broadway! =D Can't wait!

< So relieved that the bus strike in my area is resolved. It'll really make things easier for me and my brother when we go to the music festival tomorrow!

v Have you been to a big music festival before? If so did you enjoy it? :3

^ I've been to Warped Tour twice. Very fun! The second time was torture though, it was over 110 degrees :p I'm not sure if I'd ever go to that one again, I've kind of grown out of that type of music, but I'd love to go to another festival again some day.

< I'm leaving for Texas on Thursday! :gasp: I'm very excited but also pretty nervous. Not only will I be meeting internet people for the first time, but I've kind of been harboring a secret crush on one of them :woe:

v What was the last thing you were really nervous about?

^ A job interview a few weeks ago. I just felt like everything was riding on it, when it really wasn't. Still don't know if I got it or not, but the principal said SHE would call me if I was not selected, but HR would call if I had. Haven't heard from anyone.

< I'd really like to know where in Texas Sombolia is headed. :D

V What's something you'd really like to know?

^ Why I've been so stressed out lately. Probably because of aforementioned trip, but everything is taken care of so it's a bit silly!

v What's a song you hate?

^ Any Taylor Swift song. I used to actually kind of like her stuff, but now it just gets on my freaking nerves.

< I'm going to continue talking about Sombolia's trip. :p Austin is pretty close to me. If your group happens to make a day trip down here before the 7th, let me know. :lol: Oh and you need to go to a shop called Toy Joy. It's amazing.

V I find myself more and more distracted by TV shows. What distracts you lately?

^ I would say the internet... Even when I have something to do, like cleaning, I always seem to come back to my laptop a little while later to check on something... :lol:

< I'm excited to be going to Newport Oregon tomorrow with Petteri after I get off of work! :D

v I love ice cream, what is your favorite type of ice cream?

^ Strawberry. Our grocery store makes the best strawberry ice cream with local strawberries once a year. It usually comes out around April when the strawberry festival starts. It's so so good.

< It is super flipping hot here today. It's 107º right now. That wasn't supposed to happen until tomorrow. Though a "cool front" is coming in later this week, and we'll be back in the 90s. It's still way cooler than it usually is this time of year.

V How's the weather? :lol:

^ We are having a heat wave here, it's supposed to be 100+ F this entire week, and 110+ F in some places. :yuck:

< I would love to come visit you HK!! But our schedule is pretty full (we're going to a con) and I wouldn't have any way to get there. :(

v Have you had a pleasant surprise lately?

^ Yes, just now I got a message about how I'd won someone's raffle on dA; I get a free art request :D

< I think I'm going into some kind of art block. Nothing I draw looks right at the moment :C

v What's your favourite thing to do during summer?

^ Sit outside in the heat relaxing for as long & as often as possible. Usually reading, sometimes drawing, and occassionally in direct sun, though you'd never know it to look at me, I don't cross the door without my SPF on. I love the heat in my muscles, I get neck spasms & shoulder issues and it's like the best physical therapy on earth. I might draw the line at 107 degrees should that ever happen here, (especially because NJ usually has miserable humidity along with the summer heat & I do live right near a tidal marsh/swamp,) but for the most part I think I'm solar- or at least summer- powered and my favorite thing is to just sit back, be lazy & soak it in. Hate being inside in the summer.

< Got my tent out, now I just have to re-waterproof the rain fly & it's good to go, if it would ever stop rainning long enough to do that.

^ I stuffed up the Scanner and don't know how to fix it :hehe:

^ My dog Wally, lol XD Puppies are two years of hell after being used to an old dog, but they're such bright, cute little evil brats that I can't recommend them enough to people and the best thing to do is just dive back in.

v. Worst thing a pet has gotten into or done?

^ Probably Bandit chewing through my laptop cord. Either that or when I was little, I made a board game for a contest but before I could send it in my cat threw up on it :lol:

^ Leaving the UK on the 11th of August o.- I am looking forward to going home and start uni again, but...

^Hot and dry, I love me a good summer!

< Had a nice sleep-in today, and then even when I woke up, just stayed in bed for hours reading a book, it was nice.

^ sleep in and have breakfast in bed and then read/play comp games.

^ A carton of orange juice.

^ Seeing TLKoB in Birmingham, hehee :D

< Good grief, I'm again reminded of why I don't like super detailed character designs... So... much... work x_x

v What do you do to motivate yourself to finish a tedious task?

^ Depends what it is really, I suppose most often if there's something I have to do around the house like cleaning or something, I remind myself how relaxing it will be once that task is finished. I hate doing dishes, but also hate having a sink full of dirty dishes, so while I don't enjoy doing them, I do enjoy the end result :)

< In so much pain right now, wisdom teeth got pulled yesterday and the pain is really something special. Really hungry too since I can't eat much at a time or anything solid. I just want to sink my teeth into a burger or something, lol.

v Have you had any operations?

^ Had a ganglion removed off my wrist was painful and stopping me from piano and guitar at the time.

< why don't pupies come toilet trained.

V Last thing you baked/cooked was ?

^ Last thing I cooked was a giant pot of rice and some stir-fry veggies that I boxed up and froze...because I'm lazy and don't like cooking more than I have to, so I cook a lot at once and eat leftovers for a week. xD

< I just moved into a new apartment by myself and I'm LOVING it! <3

^ Went to Wet & Wild

^ Probably any one of my several trips to america to visit Pat

^ Oooo, I know this one! XP Either finally getting a license plate with CGW on it and/or going away to the Hudson Valley/middle Upstate New York for a nice 4-day long weekend trip. I haven't been on vacation as in "away" this year, so this is it!

v The most complicated , convoluted, confusing paperwork/forms you have ever filled out?

^ For the record, doing paperwork is my least favourite thing, possibly ever. The most complicated is probably either the yearly tax return, although it's much easier now that it's online and most of it you can pre-fill. So probably anything for centerlink (welfare) payments, they were the worst.

< Shouldn't be on lea right now, should be finishing getting ready for work!

v Your dream pet?

^ Unattainable: wouldn't it great to have a big cuddly domestic tiger as a pet? xD Attainable: I've always wanted a big dog! I might be getting one soon, too :)

< Should really be in bed, but I'm a having a frustrating problem with my mom's laptop I'm trying to fix for her -_-

v What is/was your favorite subject in school?

^ Art and sport, of course it helped that I was good at both.
