This really cool fabric world map. I found it at Tuesday Morning for less than half price. It came with a bunch of little animals and labels and stuff. I think I'm going to use it when I teach biomes after spring break.

Placker's tooth flossers and a new pair of slippers. Hoping for a snowday tomorrow!
A set of 8 lipsmackers, with 3 tastes of Coca Cola, 1 Sprite and 4 Fanta's (and I'm going into town tomorrow to get the 5th Fanta that was sold seperatly).
Those 8 were cheaper then the 3 I got as a souvenir at Epcot
Some moving boxes for my, well, move :p Soon I'll no longer live in a student flat, but a "real" flat xD Can't wait to have my own kitchen at last!
Congratulations Kanu. :cheese:
oooo housewarming parteh in Sweden ya'll !
Haha, yes! You're all very much welcome to come visit! ;D
Yay, congrats on the apartment! Are you going to bring roommates with you to help with the rent, or is it just gonna be you?
It's just gonna be me :3 It's not gonna be too different from what I have now, but the new flat is twice the size of my current one, ever so slightly closer to campus, and it comes with a kitchen XD I've shared a kitchen with the others in my dormitory for 2½ years now, so not having to do that any more is by far what I'm looking forward to most  The building is much older than my current place too, so there are a few things that feel a bit dated (like the scary lift x_x) but I think I can deal with it, hehe. Since I'm hopefully graduating from Uni in a few months I won't be allowed to stay in student housing any more soon, so I've been on the hunt for a new place for a while now. I plan to stay in this area and this flat is pretty much perfect, so I'm very happy I managed to nab it :D

A Kindle! I'm so excited, I never thought I needed an e-reader until I went on vacation to the meet up and suddenly realized that hauling around a sack of books (most of which I never looked at) was utterly ridiculous! So now when travelling I have the assurance of as many books as I want all carried in one device. I can't wait til it gets here tomorrow :D
Make up. Ordered from the US about a month ago, apparently it's stuck in customs. :/
Graphic Card: ASUS GTX 960 STRIX 4GB.

Wow, awesome! Have a lot of fun with it :)
Thank you. :cheese: :hugs: :embarassed:
I already test on SWTOR (which is a bad way to bench it ) I'm going to sub the game soon enough.
I'm gonna grab Grand Theft Auto V and The Crew hopefully on Summer Sale.
I bought a box of donuts from Dunkin donuts... But this one was very tricky to get...
Dunkin has only one store in Brazil, located in Brasilia, which I was there last weekend. How there is only one store in entire country, a lot of people go there, I spent one hour in a kilometric line of people to make my order.

Wow... that's really weird. But I bet these donuts were worth the wait ^^
Oooh, donuts <3 I miss getting to eat those... I'll have to make my own gluten-free ones sometime :P
The last thing I bought was the Zelda game "Majora's Mask" for 3DS. I will get into the Zelda franchise - I will! xD
Alright! xD Majora's Mask is my personal favourite, so I say that was a great choice. It's a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, though, and it's not exactly a Zelda game at its core (princess Zelda is barely mentioned at all). But it works well as a separate story, and you don't need to know much about OoT to enjoy it.
Still I'd recommend playing OoT as well, it's still considered one of the best by many x3
Last thing I bought was a new stylus for drawing on my iPad, since too much friction wore off my last one :'D
Yeah, so I've gathered xD And it just so happens that a game shop here has a huge sale on of all games at the moment, so I might snag Ocarina of Time there while I'm at it  I'm convinced enough already that I'll enjoy the games, so I don't think I'd be taking a risk getting two of them at once... :p
^Get all of the Zelda related stuff on 3ds, If you like Link of the Past, you should try Link Between Worlds. ;)
Technically groceries, but before that my new glasses. It's like a whole new world of vision :p Can't believe how bad my eyes had gotten, but it's so good being able to feel more confident driving at night again. I was really lucky to also get more off of them than what my insurance company told me I would too, so that was a nice surprise :)
A bunch of stuff for the trip next week. New toothbrushes and stuff.
Camera lens pen
DVD box Veronica Mars
DVD box Modern Family
And almost bought a Nikon d5200 incl 2 lenses, but I need to think about this for a few days, lol.
2 boxes of Vanilla flavoured instant latte & a nose ring.

Here's my new stuff this week. :D
I had to renew my teaching certificate. That counts right?
Yes, whenever it involved money and something you look forward too. ;)
I'm liking what I have so far, I spent like a thousand buck this year I believe. going to be another 100 dollars for Winter Sale, Gonna start saving now.
Wasn't looking forward to it per say, but I did have to pay for it. Last I looked it was $130 to renew, but it was only $20. I'm not going to complain.
Wow... I didn't know you have to renew your teaching certificate where you life. So what exactly is this certificate; is it a kind of "teaching license"?
I'm glad I don't have to do that. You have to study hard and pass many exams here to become a teacher, but when you finally are, you don't have to renew your license. Of course, there are "evaluations", but right now I don't have to worry about them.
@Guntur: Quite a lot! I had to save my money this year, because I've stayed at home and cared for my daugther. But I'll start working again in September and then I hope I'll have some money to spend, too ;)
The last thing I bought was a tiny shelf for my kitchen. Now I finally have a place where I can put my spices. Oh and I've bought some neat things for making cakes. Can't wait for my daugther's birthday in August. She'll get a lovely birthday cake ^^
You have to renew it every five years. I had to take a bunch of classes and pass a few exams before I got it. Then, you have to do a certain amount of professional learning classes each year, with a total of 150 before your certificate expires. It's kind of a pain, and of course they charge you for it, despite not paying you well in the first place. I have it a little better than most because I have a Master's and I get a science incentive, but still.
So sorry to hear that it's a hassle to renew it, with those learning classes. :alone:
Renew a teacher certificate? This is a bit strange because , once you got your teacher degree , you always will be a teacher... If it were a license, it would be ok, but doesn't look like right calling it "certificate", as you can't remove someone degree...
Anyway, The last thing I bought was some points of the fidelity program of a Brazilian airliner ( well, those programs started as fidelity program as you only got points if you flew on it, today it became a very commercial thing, usually paying your plane ticket with points is usually cheaper than buying with money)
The degree is completely separate from the certificate. I have a Bachelor's degree in biology and a Master's degree in science education. Because of those two degrees, I was able to complete a certificate which was the education classes and the content exams. The certificate is basically a license, but it's not called that.
understood now
