It starts...

"5? well you seem in a lot of pain. Just try your hardest and push." Katai tries to stop himself from panicking.

"Oh my gosh...how many is there?" Katai runs around to the other side and counts them, "Whoa! 7? My god, we are lucky!" he smiles happily.

"Very beautiful...any ideas for names?" Katai smiles happily cleaning some of the cubs off himself.

"Yeah...sure. Let's see..." Katai pauses for a moment thinking of some names for the cubs, "I've come up with a few...tell me if they're ok or not. Gaun, Damu and Badru for the males...I have no idea for the females. Would you like to choose those names?"

(Some of these names are out my head btw. ;))

(Ah right. The two females can be called Farida and Jemima and the male cub can be called Guan. =))

"Such lovely names for beautiful cubs." Katai nuzzles them all happily, "They're gonna grow up to be strong lions and lionesses just like Reth, Karia, Amani and Jaini."

"Yeah...it would be pretty nasty...we'll have to keep a good eye on them." Katai sighs before looking over to Jaini.
"Hey...who are these?" Jaini asks curiously.

(Darn...forgot. :lol: Scratch that then. =))
Jaini looks over from the other den curiously.

"I'll give you a hand...so many lovely little cubs." Katai smiles happily picking some cubs up too.

Jaini runs over and looks down onto the cubs. He looks down at Jemima, Farida and Guan. "What's their names?" he looks up to Katai curiously.
Jemima mews a little, fearing from Jaini. Farida and Guan mew too.
Katai looks down to Jaini, "Meet your new brothers and sisters Jaini." he smiles warmly, "This is Farida and Jemima, two of your new sisters and this is Guan, one of your new brothers."

"What's wrong with him?" Katai looks at Reth, "He looks....scared."

"I'm sure he'll get used to them though...well at least I hope he will." Katai sighs.

Jaini rolls over to near the cubs, Guan and Jemima whimper a little. Farida is fast asleep.

"I think you'd better step back a little Jaini. They're not used to you yet...they'll soon know though." Katai grabs hold of Jaini by the scruff on his neck and places him down away from the new born cubs.

Jemima looks up at Reth and paws at his whiskers. It can obviously be noticed that Jemima is a very playful cub. Farida opens her eyes too along with Guan.

Jemima giggles a bit and closes her eyes once again. Jaini looks down onto his new brothers and sisters, he is a little unsure.

Katai heards his stomach rumbling, "I'm a little hungry..."

"Looks like the hunt must've been a good one..." Katai takes a bite out of the meat.

Jaini rolls on the floor, "Hehe...you can't speak yet, can you?" he grins up to his older brother.

"Yeah...I try to hunt when I can unlike some lions who never hunt at all." Katai laughs a little licking away some blood from around his mouth, "Of course you're the most fantastic huntress of them all." he nuzzles her lovingly.

"Aww, c'mon talk...you can at least say 'daddy' can't ya?" Jaini looks up to his brother.

Jaini sighs sadly to Reth, "Aww...I'm sure you'll learn how to speak someday...every lion learns how to speak."

Farida, Jemima and Guan look curiously at Kupa unsure what to do, they decide to suckle like their brothers and sisters.

"Little beauties..." Katai purrs happily to them, he nuzzles his mate once more.

Jaini rolls over and looks back at Reth before looking up at his parents, "Why isn't Reth talking?"

"Heh...I'm the only one who speaks right? And I'm one of the younger ones...not including the new borns." Jaini sighs and lays down beside the new borns.

"Hehe...Reth just talked." Jaini grins happily.
"Whoa, you're right. Brings back memories, from the day you first spoke." Katai smiles at the memory, "Those were the first words you said." he then looks back down to Reth.

Jaini grins happily, "Yay! My brothers can speak."
Meanwhile Karia tries to mimic her brothers, "M-mummy..." she smiles up happily to Asha and nuzzles her lovingly before turning to Katai, "D-daddy..." she grins widely and happily nuzzling Katai too.

"Yeah...I'll end up getting pushed to pulling my mane and fur out if that happened." Katai whispers to Asha so the cubs can't hear.

"Oh man...don't even mention it." Katai rolls his eyes laughing a little, "Then we'd have more than 10 cubs making us pull our fur out."

"Yeah..." Katai smirks sneaking away. He disappears for a few moments.

Katai rolls his eyes, his plan was ruined. He then smirks and turns around pouncing on top of Asha sending her flying to the floor. He puts two paws on her shoulders and smirks, "Gotcha."

"Just wanted to surprise you." Katai smirks down to her.

"Usually it's you that pins be down, not today though." Katai giggles taking his paws off her shoulders.

Just as soon as Katai starts walking away he giggles to himself. He turns around and jumps on top of Asha again, "So I gotcha again." he grins.

"Alright..." Katai smirks, "Show me what you can do." he stans up in front of her so that she can pounce on top of him.

"Well females seem to have quite an habit of pinning the males." he laughs a little.

"Yeah...it seems more like that, heh." Katai sits up, "I guess that's enough pouncing for one day, heh."

Jaini looks over to new born cubs, "Ooh..." he looks down curiously, he gasps as soon as he sees his parents come back.

"Jaini, leave the newborns to sleep." Katai nuzzles him before laying down.

"Yeah...I guess so." Jaini yawns and lays down.

"Yeah...sounds good." Jaini grins looking over the new cubs once more.

"Eww...yuck, I don't think so." Jaini laughs a little.

"I wouldn't want that to happen." Jaini laughs, "I want a mate of my own."

"So that doesn't happen here?" Jaini asks curiously, "It sounds kinda stupid."

"Doesn't happen here..." Jaini smirks, "Does it?"
