Fiery abandon drifts ever downwards
Veins void of lifeblood cracked and dried
Now lonely limbs reach out in vain
Aspiring to grasp fire for just a moment more
But the world grows bleak.
And the hollow rain is waiting, watching
As quickly as the fire blankets the earth
So the hollow rain does disperse its load
The earth is heavy, the earth is damp
Turning now it trembles.
White, everything seems so old
So fragile in this thin, sweet coat
It crumbles, dancing from shaken limbs
As the earth breathes in, fresh again
Before resting in the cold.
