It starts...

Jaini suddenly rolls out of the den, laughing playfully.

"Darn..." Jaini covers his head with his paws before kicking a puddle making it splash everywhere.

"Aww...it better not be that long. I wanna go out!" Jaini sighs running in between Katai's paws.

"Darn..." Jaini lays down and puts his head on his two front paws. "Stupid rain."

"Gah...non-talker, your squishing me!" Jaini smirks to Reth.
"He's not pressing on you that hard, how about I sit on top of you? You'll be screaming then." Katai laughs a bit.
"No, don't you bother!"

Jaini tries to run away but Katai is far too fast for Jaini to even have a chance, he runs after Jaini and pins him down by his tail and presses down on Jaini.
"Gah...get off dad." Jaini says laughing a bit.

Jaini sighs, "Darn Reth....and dad, I can't believe you!" he tries to get away but he can't. Mostly due to Katai's weight.

"Mum!!!" Jaini shouts struggling to get free.

"Aww...no more, no more!" Jaini screams riggling about.
Meanwhile Karia pounces on top. :lol:

"You are gonna regret this when you get off." Jaini attempts to get free again.

"Because you're squishing me..." Jaini starts to try to get free again, "Two adult lions weight on top of me isn't doing me any good."

"Well my brothers and sister are...and dad." Jaini rolls his eyes, "Anyways, it's stopped raining now!"

"Is that I good thing?" Jaini asks.

"I do like mud..." Jaini says laughing.

"I will be, don't you worry. I have you two to take care of me if anything goes wrong though." Jaini nuzzles his parents lovingly.

"I will but I mean just in case." he says running to the entrance of the den.

"Reth looks disappointed." says Jaini, "No wonder..." he sighs.

Jaini also runs back in between his mothers paws. Katai nuzzles Reth to try and keep him comfortable, "Don't cry."

Jaini snuggles in between Asha's paws, Karia does the same after hearing more thunder and seeing another flash of lightning.

"The poor cubs, they're scared to death. Bless them." Katai nuzzles the two cubs lovingly before licking them across their heads.

Jaini snuggles up to Asha still, "I guess we can't go anywhere now." he says keeping his face buried into her fur.

"No...I definitely don't. Not now." he says still looking away from the storm.

Meanwhile the thunder rumbles again and a flash of lightning lights up all the den making Jaini scream a little.

"Yeah but it makes me jump." says Jaini still looking away.

Jaini and Karia snuggle up into Asha's fur so that the noise seems to be more muffled.

Jaini stays snuggled up, Karia turns around a little noticing that the rain is still pouring down.

"Darn..." says Jaini with his face still buried into Asha's fur.
Katai makes sure that Amani and Reth are safe underneath his fur.

"Ok then..." Jaini sighs and keeps his head away from the storm as another flash of lightning flashes.

"When's it gonna stop?" Jaini asks obviously too scared to even look.

The cubs stay snuggled up to Asha. Katai sighs looking out at the storm before looking down to the cubs once more and nuzzling them.

"I can't sleep through this." Jaini says trying to cover his ears.
"I don't think any of us will be able to sleep through this." Katai sighs doing the same as Jaini.

"Maybe..." Katai says still covering his ears.
Jaini continues to cover his.

Katai picks Reth and Amani up by their scruff and takes them over to the back of the den.

Jaini sighs.

"A bit...you can't hear much now either." Jaini laughs a bit.
"That's the whole point of coming back here." Katai laughs.

Jaini yawns, "I'm tired myself..."
Katai smiles, "Well get some sleep."

"Ok..." Jaini yawns and snuggles up to her stomach fur. Karia does the same along with Katai who wriggles along the floor as he can't be bothered to walk. :lol:

"Sure..." Katai moves a little closer so the cubs are in between them both.

Jaini starts to sweat for some reason in between his parents. "Too...hot."

"It's dad...he's too close." Jaini says.

"Is Jaini moaning again?" Katai sighs laughing a little before moving a bit away from Jaini so he can have more room.

"Don't look at me..." Katai laughs, "I was mardy when I was a cub though."
