Adulthood

"Yeah of course" Miale smiled and jumped off Katai's back "Thanks" he smirked

"No problem..." Katai smiles down to the cub, "Where's your parents anyway? Are they expecting you home?"

"No idea they probably gone out hunting or doing stuff again" Miale replied "Be good to have dad back to his usual without mom tiring him out all the time"

"Yeah, with the things you were talking about..." Katai grins to the cub, "...yeah, hopefully he'll be more active..."

"Yeah" Miale replied "Ruining alot of father and son time"

"Father and son times are sweet, especially when you make the most of your times with your son."

"Yeah I love being with dad hes always got interesting stuff to say and do" Miale grinned

"I'm a father of too many... can't really give them all father and son time... two of them are teenagers now so I can't really give them father and son time alone... then I have my younger sons, Guan, Kiume, Kafara etc. they don't like to be left out..." Katai lays down.

"I'm lucky my dad has only had me and Starla...we maybe expecting some more...if mom is in heat" Miale sighed

"That's not so much a bad thing... sometimes it's good but then again, it can be bad if you don't get along with the new cubs."

"Yeah I guess so" Miale replied "I sorta just like it being just me and Shine"

"You mean you and Starla right?" Katai smiles down to Miale, "Shine's your mother isn't she?" he rubs Miale's head with his large paw.

(ah christ sake *smacks head* i had Starla down then I accidntly pressed a wrong button and deleted the post then I ended up putting Shine...not my day)

"Yeah me and Starla I mean" Miale replied laughing softly "

"Kinda confusing since their names seem to begin with 'S' huh?" Katai smirks to Miale.

"Yeah slip of the tounge" Miale smiled at Katai

"Get lost...I'm trying to sleep..." Guan growls a little to Reth.

"Bye..." Guan rolls his eyes watching Reth leave.
Katai doesn't see Reth yet and is still talking to Miale.

Katai doesn't see or hear Reth but Reth's pounce makes him jump, he falls to the floor under Reth's weight, "Where did you come from?"

"You're really one who can sneak up on others..." Katai looks at Reth, "...which is a good thing I suppose."

"Yeah, it's better being more quiet than loud... that's something I learnt. If you're loud, you're more likely to scare the prey away... if you're quiet, the prey will most likely not hear you..." Katai smirks to Reth, "...and where have you been the past few hours?"

"One day I will be able to hunt like both of you" Miale smirked looking over at Katai and Reth

"Yeah, but first you'll have to learn how to hunt... has your dad shown you how to hunt yet? Or does he think you're a little too young?"

"I've seen him hunt loads of times" Miale replied "I hunt rabbits already...they kinda easy to catch though now"

"That's really..." Jaini interrupts what Katai was about to say...
"...well how come did you make us hunt grasshoppers when we were around the age we are now? If Miale is hunting rabbits at his age then we should've been able to hunt rabbits when we were cubs!"

"Maybe you aren't ready to hunt things like that; maybe you will be able to do soon" he said shrugging

"Yeah but my dad..." Jaini rolls his eyes before getting interrupted by Katai.
"...Jaini, it wasn't really my decision whether you were to hunt grasshoppers... if you want, you can hunt something with me later maybe..."

"I bet you will be good at hunting...if I sorta am at rabbits at the mo....you will be to" Miale smiled

"I hope so, that's if they ever let me..." Jaini sighs and rolls his eyes.
"I would let you myself, it's just...up to your mother now." Katai smiles a little to Jaini, "...it's her decision, not mine."

"I can't see why she won't...afterall what damage can rabbits do...all they do is run" Miale smirked "Thats unless your scared of rabbits" he laughed

"Hehe, no I'm not scared of rabbits." Jaini laughs, "I really wanna hunt something...we've all gotta learn sooner or later."

"Yeah hunt small then go onto the big stuff" Miale grinned

"Yeah but by the time we are adults we should be hunting antelope and wildebeest. Not grasshoppers and rabbits...at this rate we will be..." Jaini rolls his eyes.
"...Jaini, quit complaining... you'll be lucky to go hunting later on if you don't shut it... Reth, Amani and Karia won't be too happy... and don't mention the younger cubs, they're not quite ready for hunting yet anyway..." Katai tells Jaini off.

"Huntings fun either way just enjoy it" Miale replied "Rabbits can be tricky as they jump and run off in a diffrent direction without warning" he smirked

"Rabbits...tricky? I didn't really thing that but whatever..." Jaini sighs and lays down, "Dad...when are you planning to take us?"

"Who says I'm gonna take you? We're gonna have to see what your mother says first..." Katai looks down to Jaini who is laying down.

"Hopefully she will say yes" Miale smirked at Jaini and pounces on his back "And stop complaining ya giving me a headache" he laughed

"You're lucky though...my parents..." he coughs, "...my mum never really let's me go anywhere..." Jaini sighs.

"Shes just very protective" Miale replied "My parents were like that but they gave me and Starla freedom...you will to soon don't ya worry" Miale smiled sitting on Jaini's back as he lay on the floor.

"Darn, you're only young... and your parents have gave you freedom already?" Jaini looks up to Miale who is sat on his back, "...that's not fair."

"Jaini, we're only trying to prevent you getting into danger... we just don't want to lose you yet... you're still a very young lion and you have your whole life ahead of you." Katai tells Jaini, nuzzling him.

"Yeah my parents trust us" Miale replied "I wish my parents did something about it though cause Starla's changed now" Miale sighed sadly

"Miale's been with me the whole time...are you sure? Are you sure you haven't just been playing with Guan?" Katai looks at Reth with a confused look on his face.
