I searched earlier and could not find a thread on this topic. I was wondering if anybody else here had any Lion King pogs. I have four. I think they are shenzi, scar, sarabi and nala. They came in chex cereal boxes awhile back.

I've always wondered where my pogs are :O I think I had some with TLK, and maybe even that mat you used was TLK too, or if it was some other lion looking thing pic ...
They are called "Flippo's" over here.
And I have this series (and only 1 is still missing):

 Wow, pogs; haven't heard a subject of this in a long time.
I've seen TLK pogs and slammers; (besides the ones Nath is showin'.)
Awesome! = )
Yeah, there are loads of different sets.
I also got 3 of 4 slammers from the series I have, just haven't got pics yet, hehe.
i remember the pogs, but i never collected them. thrift shops are a great place to find collectables tho.
Ah yes, how could I forget Pogs? They rank right up there next to "The Pet Rock" as far as stupid fads go.
I was more into the comic book pogs, so I never collected a lot of TLK pogs. Those I did collect mainly featured Scar, but I'm not sure how many I have.
For those interested, they're selling TLK pogs on eBay as I type this. ^_^
OMG Pogs!
Oooh, the nostalgia xP
I remember the time where everyone used to take heaps of these into school most days of the week, and used to swap 'em 'n such.
Unfortunately, I didn't used to collect TLK pogs. I was more into the other types, though I pretty much do remember seeing some. I think I still have them somewhere, though they're probably dumped in a cupboard somewhere now. :p
i had more intersting TLK stuff to collect.
I didn't care at the time, I just needed to get my hands on *anything* TLK related, haha :lol:Quote:

i was basically into figurines and art books...
but its really amazing to run across old lion king stuff every so often...
When I was in first or second grade (about the time TLK came out), pogs of any kind were a huge fad. I vagely remember kids trading them or showing them off ("look at me, I'm so cool because I have pogs"). I remember them being made from cardboard and the more expensive ones from plastic. I think even some TV dinners such as kid cusine tried to profit off of them and printed some pogs you could cut out on the back of the box.
Pogs everywhere you looked back in those days ...
From comic books, Looney tunes, some were lying in a package of crisps, so that people would shoke on them ... :cringe:
That was I fad I sadly gave into. Yes of course I had Lion King pogs, but also every other pog known to man. :woeisme:Quote:
